I wondered into La Cave looking to bring home something uniquely Indian. The salesman advised that they did not carry any Indian liquor brands and started ushering me to the wine section. I turned around and right in front of me was Old Monk, a rum made only in India. The selection is great, the service is not.

Not for everyone. Has an excellent selection of wines and bubblies. But most are on the expensive side. Good choice for people who are very particular about what they drink. Decent collection of whiskeys, scotches and vodkas.

Rude Behaviour by the store cashier. The card machine wasn't working, had to arrange cash from outside. But when i told him that i want to make a complaint over this, he gave me such a smirk like do whatever you can, nobody would cares about it. Plus when you are you have shop for 30k of products from a shop, we expect them to be grateful about that but the guy was like we don't give a f about it.

I wandered into this wine shop looking for a few sparkling varieties. The collection is pretty good and I loved the display and asthetics of the store. I asked for Reislings and was shown quite a few. Picked two bottles of an Australian n an American one. Turned out ok. They have good brands and above range of wines. I was pretty focused on wines only. One thing I missed here was a great sales person. The gentleman we met was pretty helpful but had no opinion about the brands or knowledge about wines (maybe he did but he kept it to himself) whenever you pick wine from good store there should be someone who guides you will. Every wine connoisseur has their own preferences. This guidance / advice was sorely missed.

Pathetic staff, seems like they all were drunk. Bought liqueur worth 58900. They didn't even bother to give or arrange an empty cartoon for it. The card machine was also not working due to which I had to wait for more than half hour while doing payment.

@Select City Walk staff has no manners zero customer service. Their prices ridiculously high for no justification. They don't even have the popular stock and staff doesn't have clue or training. You rather go to your local off licence of wine shop coz these guys are just exist for their branding without knowing a true definition of a brand at first place. A decorated concrete structure without soul or value for customer.

Wine is an alcoholic drink typically made from fermented grapes. Yeast consumes the sugar in the grapes and converts it to ethanol and carbon dioxide, releasing heat in the process. Different varieties of grapes and strains of yeasts are major factors in different styles of wine. These differences result from the complex interactions between the biochemical development of the grape, the reactions involved in fermentation, the grape's growing environment (terroir), and the wine production process. Many countries enact legal appellations intended to define styles and qualities of wine. These typically restrict the geographical origin and permitted varieties of grapes, as well as other aspects of wine production. Wines not made from grapes involve fermentation of additional crops, including rice wine and other fruit wines such as plum, cherry, pomegranate, currant and elderberry.
