★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited for almost 20mins to get in. Better to visit on weekend mornings or weekdays.
The staff is really efficient, very cordial and we have been purchasing sarees for over a decade from Lakshmi Silk House including my wedding saree and 7th month ceremony!! . Best place for traditional sarees.. my favorite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem! Being a saree lover, I was recommended this place by an acquaintance who's visiting them for several years!
The place is small, but it's awesome! Staff is very polite and helpful! They've sarees for every budget and the quality it top notch! I purchased an exquisite hot pink kanjeevaram silk saree and it is fantastic... extremely happy with the overall experience...only downside was the waiting time, but I've figured out that if one visits them in the afternoon, there is considerably less crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is very rude and not at all customer friendly. They show you limited sarees and make you feel really bad about your own choices. Collection is nice but the experience with the staff just spoils your day. Better to go to New Mahalaxmi Stores next door as the staff there will show you everything they can offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good collection of silk saree. very reasonable . You get all range. Friendly staff. . You can get a saree for every range n function. There is no parking but u can park at matunga station pay n park. Slightly expensive per hour but at least your car is safe. Usually a waiting here so you need to take out time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Sales person was least interested in showing us sarees. He was actively showing sarees to others not sure why he was not interested in showing sarees to us. First when we showed up to his store he said there’s a waiting for one hour coz he and his assistant were busy showing sarees to two different group of womens (which is understandable and we were fine waiting outside ). After around 25-30 mins one group left and therefore seeing us waiting outside the store he allowed us to come in. However, waiting for our turn was not at all fruitful coz the sales person only showed us 4-5 options and said that’s all we have. We told him we liked 1-2 sarees you have shown us, but we would like to see some more options. If we are going to pay you 30-35k for a saree we obviously want to see some options. One lady who came after us to buy a saree shawl , he attended her before us with all his attention and showed her n number of options. The most annoying part was that the kind of sarees we liked the other salesman there who was attending the other group of women who were there before us (30-45 mins before us) and he was even making them try it on them, where as our salesman told us go have tea and come after 30mins, if anything left will show you sarees. If you are not interested in selling sarees to some people then please let them know that you are ‘out of stock’ when they show up outside your store don’t waste their time. Some of us come from far away places to your store with some expectations.
