The way I look at social skills, it's like maths. Some people are naturally gifted but some find it not as intuitive. That being said we all need just enough social skills to exist in society and to form meaningful friendships which is often a challenge if you don't know how. I believe breaking things down into bite sized pieces and practising each bit can definitely bring about meaningful change as time goes by. There is really no instant fix. My son has dyspraxia, a likely lifelong neurodevelopment problem that affects his fine and gross motor coordination and ability to sequence thinking and control his impulses. We had come a long way over he years into the bumbling, tripping kid he was. Somewhere between dealing with the more obvious physical challenges and academics, his self esteem and peer relationships took a hit. That was a lot of baggage that he had to carry which then started to affect his well being and his mental bandwidth for his academics and being able to pay attention in class. That often made him to regress to become someone he wasn't at times and to end up being bullied, made fun off and be isolated without a single friend. As a parent there was a time I felt truly helpless. Felt I could use all the help I could get. That was what made me to seek out Swati. She is a thorough professional and in just the past 5 months the changes I can see in my son's body language, confidence, peer relationships and his focus even in his academics has been huge. She has this entire team of equally dedicated professionals who have impressed me with with their extremely thorough and rigorous methods. Have loved how they design the sessions to be like role plays and games which make children open up in ways I've never heard him open up before. He has become so much more comfortable in his own skin, become so his own mature self with a depth I didn't think him to be capable of. Most importantly he has accepted his individual challenges and thinks of himself as simply progressing to his goals. To the point his school counsellor told me he has become so empathetic to his peers, even offering help stepping into the role of a counsellor himself during a discussion in life skills at school. That being said he's had some wonderful insightful teachers, a dedicated school counsellor and cannot underemphasise the effort that needs to be put in as a parent ourselves. But Swati gave me the much needed structure and most importantly the support I needed as a parent to help my son. I am truly indebted to her and her team for the wonderful work they have done with my son. Swati understands where each parent comes from and she decides things in close discussion with the parents which helps us to identify and target the most important priorities to thresh out the key focus areas every week. They also give a thorough documented summary of each session which was a wonderful insight for me as a parent and that really helped me devise my own follow-up strategies for home taking off where they had left off. Swati is a thorough professional with a heart. I would wholeheartedly recommend Swati and her team to any parent who feels they need such a support team for help .

We appreciate the way this center provides skills to bridge the gap for social interaction. Moreover periodic skills development analysis by experienced member helps parents to follow instructions/suggestions in home also. We can see the difference after enrolment in the Center.

This is one place where you can trust the team with your eyes closed and let them guide you and your child. I have been taking aba classes since past 9 months and honestly have been pleasantly surprised by my son's progress. If you don't know anything about ABA therapy, come to this place and consider yourself lucky to not have wasted time with other centres. If you have tried ABA in the past, and have given up, then please I urge you to come and try this one because quality ABA is something that is not easily available in India and my guess is you gave your kid in wrong hands, saw little to no progress.. all while your child was crying and learning was made robotic and torture basically. Firstly quality ABA does not give up on the child!! It is VERY child centric! If it is not fun for your child, it is not good ABA! They keep changing their methods to suit the needs of the child, to make it fun for the kid. They listen to you as a parent. They will discuss programs with you and ways to generalize. Their therapists are amazing and Mrs. Swati Kohli is BCBA and absolutely great at what she does. I commend her for maintaining such quality and principles on her practice! Thank you so much team LSA! Doing a fantastic job! All while my son is having the time of his life!

I worked at LSA for two months over the summer and it was a great learning experience. The intricate work that's done with the children, the planning, the consistency behind it, is brilliant in it's structure and execution. We need more places like this to reach out to so many other children who could use this kind of help. Each child gets the individualised attention they need and focus is on the skills that can be developed for them with them across a variety of social, emotional and developmental arenas. The team at LSA is it's main strength, with continuous training sessions and research development they keep innovating the methods that can be used with the children which avoids stagnation and keeps the process engaging as well as beneficial for the child. With a team that's dedicated to growth and evolution, it's one of the best centers of it's kind in India.

I did my summer internship for a month at LSA and it was an incredible experience. The kind of experience and exposure that one gets is very comprehensive and holistic. The Therapists are extremely supportive and work well in favour of the children. The techniques and programs undertaken are individualized and hence extremely effective. The team at LSA works in a highly organized and integrated manner, following the ABA therapy in a synchronized amalgamation of technological and clinical intervention. LSA provides the best psychological intervention as, apart from focusing on the socio-emotional and cognitive development of the child; his progress is also tracked and the individual program is accordingly altered. The team is consistently working towards creating innovative measures and improving their methods and ways.

Learning Skills Academy is a one of its kind institution which innovatively integrates both technology and therapeutic interventions to provide the best possible psychological care required by any child suffering from a developmental disorder. I worked at Learning Skills Academy for about two months this summer as an intern. It was a great learning experience as it is one of those few institutions which not just let you observe but also teach and train you regarding the various operants underlying ABA Therapy which they employ. LSA consists of a team of highly empathetic and dedicated therapists who continuously work towards finding novel intervention techniques that would benefit the children. Individual intervention programs are designed keeping in mind the child's need and skills. Weekly training sessions and monthly progress report of the child are also prepared in order to keep track of their development and also update their parents about their progress. Working towards holistic development (emotionally, socially, etc.) LSA provides the best possible therapeutic care that your child needs.

I really appreciate the idea behind this app through this app many people who don't have adequate resources to get therapy in their cities have now access to it. Very useful and helpful for ABA intervention.
