The Leather Talks journey started in 1973 from the first EBO in AC Market, Kolkata to four EBO’s till 1984 in the four metros of India namely New Delhi, Mumbai & Hyderabad. Lt was the first brand to launch luxurious gent’s belts with locally made reversible buckles with original golden and silver polish. The great exuberating craftsmanship , product quality with innovation and great customer service helped it achieve a goodwill in a short span of time. Then the LT journey took a turn to the goodwill products/promotional goods market with the top 150 corporate of India as its clients. In 2010 Leather Talks launched the MRH Leather Goods Pvt. Ltd. now the parent company and the brand owner of Leather Talks and Vaunt. Mrh made a national presence by launching both the brands in the Indian Stationery market through the MBO (Multi Brand outlet)mode and acquired a channel comprising of India’s leading organized stationery sellers within a year’s time. But with the reducing organized stationery market MRH strategically reorganized itself in the luxury market positioning its brands “Leather Talks” as the Handcrafted Genuine Leather Accessories brand targeted towards the upper middle class of India aged between 28-45 winning hearts with everyday use innovative functional product at its core and brand “Vaunt” as the fashion brand targeted towards the youth aged between 20-40. The present scenario of the journey will include its first shopping mall Exclusive Outlet(EBO) at Quest Mall, Kolkata in 2014.
