★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leder Land is an reputed brand with long reputation , unfortunately the current staff needs training in customer service and behavior . On 17th June 2018 during one of my trips to kolkata , Since I had some query on the quality of few products the inhouse staff behaved so badly that i came out of the shop quietly. The original owner is an gem of a person sardarji with pleasant personality eager to help. My humble appeal to the staff , please behave well , we buy so your business runs. You cannot insult and argue with your customer. Its a pity. Hope they improve their customer service and respect their customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used bag nearly for 5 days and its straps gave way..
I had specifically asked the shop to give me a bag which can handle daily wear and tear and carry some bit of load such as a small water bottle , an umbrella and my tiffin.
After hearing the specifications the staff suggested the bag (priced at about INR 1800/-)
And merely after 5 days of basic usage the straps came out!!
When I take it to the shop the staff does a makeshift repair work.
While they were preparing I realise that the screws were simply pushed into a foam surface which is definitely not sufficient for these kinds of bags or for any bag for that matter.
They are definitely not apologetic about the poor quality of their product and were trying to give lame explanations...
Never expected this from a shop I had been trusting for so many years...
@Lederland... thanks for your response... I have noted that next we purchase anything from your shops you only take responsibility of the leather quality and have no liabilities for the "handle" of the bag.. so we should only look at purchasing leather sacks from Lederland and purchase hand bags from a shop which bothers to take full responsibility of the products they sell.
I did ask for a change of the product which was blatantly refused on spot.
