It is learnt that once upon a time there was a temple which was burnt accidentally and puja and prayers is being continued as per the directives of Devine mother as it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hindu temple. There are Maa bhabatarini and shib temple. It is the middle point of Nabadwip. You can reach this temple from nabadwip Farighat to mondir by toto rickshaw or Nabadwip dham railway station or Bishnupriya halt station to mondir by toto rickshaw. There is a good market for imition jewellery and around the temple have a big market for all kinda of things available here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porama temple is a very old temple at Nabadwip. Lots of people come here to worship the god. Nabadwip is a very old and heritage city. Poramatala is the centre of Nabadwip. Here is a many hundred years old banyan tree. Here you can visit also Bhabatarini temple and bhabataron shiv temple. Poramatala is also the busiest market of Nabadwip. Come and visit Nabadwip and also visit poramatala.
