In historical Murshidabad only remaining monument made by Nawab Mirza Muhammad Siraj-ud-Daulah's own hand. It is a white colour mosque situated just beside the walkway between The Hazarduari Palace and Hazarat Imambara... It is heard that, soil for construction of the mosque came from the holy Mecca.

The Madina Mosque is a mosque in the Nizamat Fort Campus in Murshidabad, West Bengal, India. There are two Madina mosques in the fort campus, the old one built by Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah during the 18th century.and the new one by Nawab Mansur Ali Khan in 1847. The old mosque was a part of the old Nizamat Imambara, built by Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah, which was partially burnt in a fire in 1842 but was completely burnt when it caught fire on 23 December 1846.[1] The old Madina mosque survived the 1846 fire and was left in its place. When Nawab Mansur Ali Khan[2] built the present Nizamat Imambara in 1847, he built another Madina Mosque inside the new building. So Madina or Madina Mosque refer to both the mosques. Both of them lie parallel to the Hazarduari Palace's south face on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The old one lie a little south to the new one and on the west of the clock tower and just beside the place where the Bacchawali Tope rests.

It was built by Bengal nabab Siraj us dulla for his mother. A copy of Modinagar masjid. The nabab brought soils from Modina and built this masjid in Hazarduari compound.

Madina Masjid is a small Mosque between the Hazarduary palace and Imambara. Made to replicate Hazrat Muhammad's Tomb at Madina. Madina Masjid or Mosque's foundation had soil from Macca, before it was destroyed in fire, and re-constructed later was built with pious soil from Karbala.

Madina mosque at Hazarduari compound with Imambara in the backdrop at Murshidabad Madina is a small mosque between the Palace and the Imambara. It is one of the most sacred Muslim places in Bengal. Made to replicate Hazrat Muhammad's tomb at Madina, the original mosque's foundation had soil from Mecca, before it got destroyed in the fire. The one constructed later was built with pious soil from Karbala. The rooms of the mosque can house 700 Quran readers. Two minarets at the two ends of the mosque measuring 70 feet high, still exist. The architectural layout of this mosque is a rectangular plan. It has been divided into five inlets, each with a curved entrance and the central one is the most noticeable one as it has a lean steeple. The mosque has five domes, each of them used by a solo Namaz reader.
