★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mahabat Maqbara and Bahauddin Maqbra are mausoleums in Junagadh. Mahabat Maqbara was completed in 1892 which is dedicated to Mahabat Khan II and Bahauddin Maqbra was constructed in 1896 which is dedicated to Mahabat Khan’s minister Bahauddin Hussain Bhar. Babi dynasty ruled the erstwhile Junagadh State.This Monument is protected by Gujarat Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites but most structure has been started to ruin due to negligence. These mausoleums are beautifully carved on its inner and outer facades and arches. They have domes in onion-shaped, windows are French style, silver doorways etc. There is no entry fee.

Here you we'll know about the art as well as u can get good pictures.
I love to visit this place during evening. It gives pleasent aesthetic vibes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Junagadh railway station, very beautiful building and unique architecture, renovation work is going on and hopefully it will look more beautiful after the completion of the renovation. The most important spot to visit in Junagadh after girnar. It's worth your time if you are interested in heritage buildings and architecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great piece of art. Such an impressive makbara, I have never seen such a beautiful makbara in my life.
Renovation work is going on for the past 4 to 5 years and it is about to complete in the next few months.
You can click some beautiful pictures of yours along with this beautiful makbara.
There is no ticket to enter this place, you can go and visit this place for free. Maybe they will start charging for visits post-completion of renovation work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While returning from Somnath had a visit to this least known, architectural wonder made in Indo-Islamic, European & Gothic style. Presently under renovation, may open to public in 2-3months.it is under Gujrat archeological society.
There are 2 mausoleum
1 built for Nawab Mahabat Khan 2nd of Junagarh, started in1878 but completed in 1892 by Bahadur Khanji.
2 built for Wazir Bahaduddinbhai Hasainbhai in 1896. It is surrounded by 4 minarets, each encircled by winding staircases from top to bottom
Both have elaborate carvings, fine arches, silvery doors, French windows, onion shaped rooftops.
Beautiful place. Although under renovation still clicked few pics
