The COVID rules here are such a trial. I don't understand why doorstep deliveries or visitors are not permitted if they are allowing domestic help, laundrymen etc. They are also allowing everyone into the park, age no bar. What's disgusting is to see the rude and arrogant security men (even some residents) just stare instead of helping elderly people carry deliveries to their homes!

Worst society ever. My family and I regret moving into Mahalaxmi Towers, we will move as soon as the tenancy agreement comes to an end. I'm posting this review so that if you're contemplating of moving here, you can take the following into account. When the property broker showed us this place, it was brand-new and being marketed as a Rustomjee building, so we assumed the maintenance and facilities would be up to the mark but we couldn't have been more wrong. There is an endless list of issues with this place, I'll only list a few appalling ones: - No water supply. It has happened for almost 3 months in 2019. Turns out this building doesn't have any tanks to store water and BMC has stopped water all day to Mahalaxmi towers. Water flows for only 2 hours daily. - The society has an exclusive internet and tv contract with one company. You have no choice but to use this company. The internet connection is super slow, we've experienced an outage at least once a week. So, forget about working from home or streaming movies, Also, they make you buy their router. - Inexperienced and lazy bunch of handymen (plumber, electricians) . It's been 3 months, I'm waiting for them to fix an issue with my shower and bathroom lights. - The society's management is extremely rude, arrogant and uncooperative. They fine you for the smallest thing, i.e., for keeping plants in the balcony, carrying furniture in the lift when we first moved in. We live on the 14th floor. They expected us to carry all the furniture by stairs. Also, a few months after they turned off the lifts for no reason at all and we had to use the stairs. We really regret moving here and can't wait to get out.

Been staying here on rent since a year. But the most most horrible society we have ever seen in our life. Their rules and regulations only they can understand. As per the society office convineance. Totally inconsiderate people. Even now after the pandemic when the government has opened up they are not allowing anybody to come even after valid ID proof of aadhar card, company job card. Our own parents staying in same city are not allowed. Please who so ever is planning to buy or rent out be careful it will be your biggest mistake. And all the society members staying here will only complain but they will never raise their voice. Hypocrites.

We are staying at Mahalaxmi tower from last 3 yrs without any issue. Yes there are certain rules in the society but it has some logic / safety & hygiene behind it. Example: * Not allowing delivery guys at your door step...for safety concern as you don't know where delivery guys have travelled earlier. This rule started in pandemic only & which is for the safety of all. * About water - in last 3 yrs , we had water shortage may 2-3 days maximum tat too due to water cut from BMC & due to cleaning of water tank one day. Apart from these there is 24*7 water always. * You are not allowed to keep garbage outside of your door....I think that's absolutely correct as i have seen people keeping full of dustbin bags outside & then all dirty things scattered on entire floor. The building gym/garden & area is very clean & well maintained. Safe to stay!! I can say its a society for organized peoples

Attention ! If you are planning to buy/rent a house in this building please rethink on your decision because the construction quality looks good but the people aren't. I had a very bad experience where token was taken society agreed for the rented flat. Just when they came to know my father is from Police background they rejected me for taking the house on rent. As per society member people from media, legal , actors or any government services are not allowed. This is infact a crime and punishable under our ipc. But I am surprised none of the members have complained this to the housing board registrar. The society rules are not for people but for harassment of people. Looking at the reviews where people have mentioned about society corruption and rules I understood why they don't want person from such background. Rent has come down to 40k and people are still denying to be part of this society. Hopefully the news comes out and the members are punished soon.

They have unnecessarily strict rules like no netted windows, and there are lots of mosquitoes in the area. No pets are allowed. All the electricians, wifi needs, network connections have to be done through employees in similar field of the building, but if you want a tubelight fixed you'll have to get it on your own. The staff is sometimes extremely rude, especially the people higher up. If you're planning to stay here you need to abide by all the unnecessary rules. The building isn't bad. There is a tiny garden area to walk and for kids to play. But the rules make no sense at all.

The management here is unbelievable! They have barred doorstep deliveries since over a year but allow outside handymen and other people based on their whims and fancies. During the peak of the first wave they defaced the beautiful park with a well which has uglified the area and is also dangerous. While there were active cases they had some sort of polio drive organised. Presently, they want the grills of every balcony and bedroom painted as a matter of utmost importance. We had painters practically traipse into our flat unannounced and were spoken to curtly when we we requested them to only paint the balcony grill due to safety concerns ( as we haven’t been vaccinated yet). According to their logic one can only contract Covid from delivery boys. I am surprised at other residents tolerating this. It’s obvious the management doesn’t give a damn about Covid safety and will allow anything that will make them a profit. These people are so money hungry, corrupted and moronic it beggars belief!! PS: Mumbai reported zero Covid deaths last week. Most citizens have had their first vaccination dose and I am sure majority of the delivery men are fully vaccinated. These people recently held Garba for 9 nights in a row with large groups in the park. They have absolutely no reason for not allowing door step deliveries. This is sheer harassment and bullying!

It has been informed by reliable sources / Brokers. It is one of the wierdly managed building by the management having very stringent rules to be abided by the owners of the flat and the tenants. there cannot be a long term lease agreement more then a year (proves nexus of management and brokers) no guest parking for a huge complex of 480 flats approx. If tenant needs parking he has to pay upfront the parking charges forthe full period of lease. Apart from bachelors and pets not allowed in the society. you can invite to your home, relattives and friends who do not have vehicles as they will have to hunt parking in a small lane full of parking occupied by 2 wheelers. There is a monopoly of brokers. selected one or two brokers only can bring in new tenants.
