This sells goods of agriculturists from Pune and other places as well as from other states. This includes all types fruits, cereals, spices, all types of foods and food related goods required at home, on cheaper or reasonable rates compared with other vegetable markets in the city. The market committee is elected by the agriculturers on cooperative basis for 5 years. All the shops are big and wholesale basis. ATMs, banks and other facilities are available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a land mark in itself with round shaped tall building. Lifts are small and with collapsible gates. Typical government building with crowded work spaces. Has its own parking place.Washrooms are clean.Reception assistance is so-so.Very close to Market Yard in the rear. Approach is from the Gul and Bhusar(jaggery & Grocery section) Market gate on the main road from Swargate end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I enrolled for the 5 day program in Horticulture and it has really left me with a very good beginners understanding of the trade. Though the course was in Marathi, every lecturer and faculty went out of their way to accommodate me (a non-Marathi speaking person!). The hospitality was also commendable. Highly recommend!
