Maharishi Valmiki Hospital is a 150 bedded – multi specialty hospital situated at Pooth Khurd in peripheral part of North Delhi. Its main objective is to provide free basic health care services. Standards of services may be influenced by workload & availability of resources at that particular time. Yet it is intended that all users receive courteous & prompt attention. The hospital campus is spread over 8.10 Hectares. The hospital has been established with a view to provide primary, secondary and tertiary level of treatment for more than 8.5 lakhs population of the rural area including the bordering area of North District of Delhi. The hospital has scope for future expansion.

Having all the departments of specialities in medicine...MVH is a nice nd clean medical facility..giving 24*7 running casuality??

My Father was admitted by ambulance with a head injury due to road accident. He again fell on his head in hospital before we reached there after receiving a call from police. No one was attending him. Even this was told to us by another patient's attendant. No one from hospital told us anything about his falling from bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Govt.hospital where you can get medical facilities.if you are going for OPD better don't go to Monday and Saturday bcz crowd will be maximum at that day and for some facilities required staff and doctors are not there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well it's true that hospital is clean...but don't expect much from a govt. hospital.
I found lesser work load here, hence better shape of hospital is justified.
There are multiple lifts in all blocks.
There are plastic chairs properly placed outside ever department.
There is free parking available..which offcourse is a great relief.
Also a small Park outside, a small canteen and cold drinking water.
Location is an issue...but for the locals here it is good.
I can't say how well does the staff responds but don't expect a private hospital's welcome.
