MIBL was the proud recipient of the "Broker of the Year" Award for 2014 at the 18th Asia Insurance Industry awards held in Taipei, Taiwan. Asia Insurance Review (AIR), based in Singapore, is a premier and comprehensive professional regional publication launched in 1991, which over the years since inception has instituted the Asia Insurance Industry Awards to award excellence in Asia's insurance industry under different categories.
2014, marked the 18th year and was a proud moment for MIBL to reach the Top 3 finalists under two different categories - 'Employer of the Year' and 'Broker of the Year'. The finals involved 2 rounds of evaluation. The first round involved submitting an entry from where the top 3 finalists were shortlisted from a total of 500 entries. In the second round the finalists had to face a panel of 33 judges drawn from a global cross section of industry leaders, regulators and experts.
