The first service at this service station was a good experience. Based on my past experience I planned the second free service in the month of october. This time the experience was completely opposite. As per the app the vehicle was showing as ready at 2:30 pm based on which I was there to pick up my vehicle. Service executive had also mentioned that the vehicle will be ready by 2:00 pm. I got the vehicle in hand at around 6:00 pm. Whatever problems were reported were not worked upon which I checked after vehicle handover. In addition to this all the seats had grease marks and the service executive was like these were available from begining and you need to take the 3M cleaning package. After informing and confirming that I am an IT professional and have no connection to grease they arranged to clean it. The paper mats which they placed after washing the car had footprints of mud. This was really horrible but I did not had the energy to argue. The firmware which was supposed to be updated as per the service executive was not updated. I had to remind them on completion of activities which they had promised themselves. After a month of second service I observed a problem with the REGEN functionality which I reported to the service executive. The service executive informed that the concerned specialist will call me back to understand the issue. Nobody called back. Next day somehow I managed to get in touch with the service station manager who called me to the service station assuring that the problem will be looked into quickly by connecting a laptop. The service executive calls up and confirms that I can come anytime. After reaching there and waiting there for 1.5 hours the service executive comes back informing only the events which occured during the failure which I was already aware of. After realising that they really have not understood the problem statement Finally I had to go to the workshop to explain the exact problem. I had to inform what should they check in their logs to confirm whether it was really a problem or not. After that there was no feedback on whether I should stay or leave the vehicle. Staff was happily enjoying their lunch and here I was clueless of the next steps and hungry. Finally I get in touch with the manager for trying to get a feedback. The manager is like I dont know that you have come. She asks the service executive on why she was not informed to which the servive executive informs that she had informed. I just did not know how to react. I just bursted out. They made me meet the head of the service centre in the cabin where I had to explain him the entire problem again. The head, Mr. Sachin assures that they will take this up with the plant for a resolution. With the assurance that the vehicle will be cleaned and will be made available in next 15 min I was there for the next 1.5 hours waiting for the vehicle with empty stomach and with no energy. Finally when i get the vehicle i see paper mats with mud footprints. With no energy to discuss this with them I decided to leave. I am still not sure whether they are in a position to handle the problem. The executives lack in providing accurate time feedback and transparency. Mahindra is having such nice vehicles but they have a lot to improve on service. Sometimes I feel switching to Mahindra from Hyundai was a bad decision.
