I went to Makhdoom Sahib Shrine. Located towards the south of Hari Parbat in Srinagar, Makhdoom Sahib Shrine is an Islamic shrine dedicated to Sufi saint Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom aka Makhdoom Saheb aka Hazrat Sultan aka Mehboob-ul-Alam aka Sultan-ul-Arifeen.

Its a mazaar (grave) of late Mehmood Burqaposh. He was my ancestor & they buried here.My ancestors came to India from Iran in the time of Lodhi. He was very intelligent and brave So Lodi ruler honored him with a high position.Hailing from his bravery and cleverness, the Lodi ruler gifted him 350 bighas land in Hauz Khas and approx. 60k Bighas land in Chholas (near Greater Noida).

The mosque of Makhdum Sahib is a Lodi period structure. This is a C-shaped building, forming an open courtyard in front. It is a seven bay mosque and has domes over the central and the corner bays. #MakhdumSahib

A quiet place, very fewer people are aware of its presence so u can sit there and have a good conversation with friends.

Makhdum Sahib Mosque is located near Mayfair Garden in Delhi. Nothing special to mention. As it seems it was a burial ground. Who was Makhdum Sahib is not sure, may be he was a saint. Mosque is of Lodhi period structure. Plan in such a way so that you can visit all nearby mosques and monuments which are large in number. Do visit. No parking as security guard doesn't allow outside vehicle inside. No display of information, no guide. People used to play cards. Must be maintained properly.

A monument preserved by ASI. Seems to have afghans architectural style . This is located inside a picturesque setting, nestled between the  very posh Mayfair Gardens bungalows of South Delhi. Named after the saint Makhdum Sahib, the Masjid stands amidst a number of unknown graves.

This is a hidden jewel in the middle of a strictly guarded residential area and is not really a mosque but just a tomb for some medieval person about whom I know little since there was no tour guide available. The premises are spacious and has sprawling lawns. This place is well-maintained and has a security guard. The overall monument is in a good condition and consists of a the main Chhatri and several tombs lying around. ♿ Accessibility Features: No=Ramp access. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance.
