Rev. Late Mala Devi worked for the welfare of needy people, neglected or abandoned women and children through out her life far beyond her capacity. Dr. Biswas and his friends setup an organisation in her memory. A non government organisation (NGO) 'Mala Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan' came into existence on 5 August 2006 and an orphanage-cum-all round development shelter home for single parent children or needy slum little brains Mala Smriti Home established on 12 August 2012.
