★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enquired and talked with caretaker...I rated it 1 star because paying guest means to provide food along with lodging accomodation...this guest house charge 5k per head in 3 sharing basis only for staying...dont you people think 15k for one room is more than expensive... Change your name...improve your other facilities...then expect more star

Many corporates from TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Sify, Accenture, Wipro and students from IEM, UEM, Amity University, Techno India stay here. Quality facilities with reasonable rates. with food at New Town Action Area I (Near New Town Bus Stand) is ideal for Corporate Professionals and students. It has homely atmosphere and peaceful location. It is 5 minutes walking distance from New Town Bus Stand and Opp to DLF Building. It is fully safe and secured and easy transportation is available from any part of Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No food is provided. Security is a concern. Rooms are good though. AC rooms 2/3 sharing will cost you 5k and non AC rooms will cost you 3.5/4k. Water and wifi is provided.
Overall good options. The location is 250m from DLF, 400m from Newtown auto and bus stand. Connectivity is really really good.

Main advantage is that bus stop and food shops are at 10 min walking distance.security is a little concern. Overall good but a little pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed here since my college days from Sep 2016 till March 2020. And I was extremely satisfied with the services and amenities provided according to the rent charged. The location is also great as there are nearby grocery stores, medicinal shops, stationery goods and bank atms are also available within 4 to 6 minutes walking distance.
The greatest upside to this place is that, it is at an extremely nearby proximity to Newtown Bus Stand (<500m), which makes commuting easier to different places.
The owner and care taker are cautious regarding the well being of the tenants, provided we let them know about our issues. And they are not at all disturbing when it comes to the tenants privacy, provided we abide by a few generic rules and regulations.
I hope you all have a good stay just as I did back in the days.
