Full Marks!!! It was a mix of dishes from Banglore/Manglore/Udpi & Kerla style. They also had North Indian style dishes and the taste of both the version is good. We went their in the busy time during the Lunch hours and still the time taken to serve or the taste and the friendly behaviour of the Hotel was remarkable. The ambience adds value to the sitting. Also a suggestion to them to add more south style cookware to give a different feel. Overall 5*

Very slow service, we ordered thali . Even to give rice they took 15 mins. The rice they gave was biriyani rice. Taste sucks. The owner should hire a proper south indian cook. Never coming here again.

Typical Udupi- Mangalore type food. Filter coffee is famous. Other than that all south indian dishes are delicious and in Udupi style. Surprisingly you ll get Idlis steamed in Pine leaves here which are available usually in coastal karnataka.

Best place for south Indian food in Pune. Less crowded, authentic taste and affordable rates compared to other overrated places.

They have some authentic South Indian dishes and the Menu card have unique names which are a little bit confusing ?.There was little bit waiting period and also it was crowded.I had kotte Idli which was wrapped in jackfruit leaves.

This place since 30years....the restaurant is authentic for their South Indian dishes like dosa, idli....the ambience is quite ok. Good for quick bites... Rassam was awesome??... Staff is really good... Only to work on pleasant ambience. Economical cost of dishes.... Good for family n friends.

#malguditiffins #kothrud Hello? People today's review is on malgudi tiffins Ta,na,tana tana ta...had to get that out of my system! Started in 2017,this place is truly favourite with the puneites. Serving udipi,mangalore,kerala style food only! They make superb heavanely idlis We tried 1)Malgudi special moode:idlis wrapped in pine leaves. The screw pine leaves alomst make it a mystry to open this parcel as it is filled with thorns keeping it intact and here they had added toothpics...In udipi,mangalore the speciality is use fragrant leaves to makimg steaming hot healthy idlis.Here they have two options.One was pine Second was jackfruit. We tried the first.This had unique and distinct taste and flavours.The cylindrical shape of the idle in mangalore means moode.The flavour of coconut oil is distinct with the delicious coconut white chutney. 2)Tatte idli:A very popular by upahara darshinis in mangalore,udipi. Super soft,thick texture makes it different and made in a coating of podi masala gives it its unique flavour. Served with medium spicy sambaar and delicious lip smacking white coconut chutney 3(Malgapodi idli:Gunpowder idli.Made unique in flavours because of karnataka uses white dessicated coconut and ghee paradise. With just ghee,pinch of hing(aseofotida)gunpowder and the little pieces of idlis bob up and about with squeals of pur joy. Served with medium spiced sambaar and white coconut chutney 4)Appe:Paniyaram or paddu. Made with dosai batter,sweet red onions jewels,greenchilliesfresh teeny weeny coconut and this brings out the textures and flavours A superb refreshing change,when one doesn't want to indulge in dosai. Served with ? 5)Filter kapi heaven. They are known too for soft benne dosai,set dosai and tiffins served in the lunches. They also serve mangalore buns! Opens at 8am daily They are awaiting their udipi cooks to return as lockdowns kept them in the village Once they come back You can emjoy piece de resistance thick,crisp brown benne dosai Also,we are told those cooks use to make different chutneys daily Happy breakfasts!

The best place for South Indian food. The neer dosa and coffee is a must try!! Loved the dishes. An amazing place with to hangout. They have nice seating and ambience. They provide 2 wheeler parking .
