It is a small fort, nothing much is left over. On the top there are few temples. It is pretty easy to climb from base of from topside parking lot. Roads near by is bad. It is just after crossing the dive ghat from Pune. This fort is very near to Pune and around 3 hrs may take for full round tour and treck.

Superb sunset view point. Awesome place . Very quite . Best spot for picnics. There is a lord shiva's temple. This fort is also the last fort build by the Maratha empires.Trekking area is bit tricky . Be careful while climbing. There is muddy road path for vehicles which directly leads to the foot of the fort. There is a local toll fee to be paid minimum 20rs per person if your on bike, 40rs each if your in car n so on.. please don't leave your plastics or any kind of garbage when you visit.

Malhargad fort is also known as Sonori fort. This is 25-30kms from Pune and just beyond dive ghat. You can choose this place for a small trek. There is an approach road which will take you to the base of the fort where you can park your car and start your trekking. It takes 15-20mins max to reach at the top. The view is really breaktaking. You should carry your own water bottle and snacks if you need because there is nothing which you can get to eat or drink.

If you are in pune,Then you must visit this fort. The fort is in very good condition. If you go from Dive ghat, then there is only a 20 minute trek. Make sure that you carry food and water as there are no stalls on top of the fort.

Hardcore level - very easy Very easy to trek - reachable by car, bike direct under foothills Even old peoples can easily do it SEASONS :- all season fort Summer - I visited in summer ??️ It's too hot while trekking but when you reach the top of the fort it will blow your mind Winter - good option for trek Rainy season - will be the best option for trek, the greenary and the hilltop view will be next level, view of village from fort is also satisfying.
