★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been there with my wife and daughter, good place to have seafood, chicken, mutton in Malvani/kokani style. Restaurant is very small but cozy place with few tables can't plan for big group party. You can try any seafood dish chicken dish or mutton dish it's really fresh, tender, yummy and quantity is also really good. They also do the home delivery within dadar west and prabhadevi. If you are coming by car or even on bike than parking is really a issue so plan accordingly. According to me it's Must Try restaurant....

If you don't have enough chicken or prawns to cook you must not take the orders. There were hardly 8 prawns and just 4 medium and small pieces of chicken which were just made out of the basic masalas. No taste and the quantity was so less that it could not even fill the appetite of 1 person. Dear swiggy and restaurant owner kindly take this into consideration I've ordered prawns masala for 280 And chicken masala for 200 which is not a petty amount. The size of your lemon was just a slice, man who does this much cost cutting. I doubt this restaurant had certainly outsourced their order. Your name is malvani fat fish, it should be malvani skeleton fish.
I am a Mumbaikar, I thought of making Sunday special hence In a good faith I choosed this restaurant and it was a great mistake. I felt like to go to this restaurant by myself and throw the food on the owners face. The size of their bowl is so small even canned food Maggie has got a larger portion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered Chicken sukha and Jawla koshimbir. What was delivered to me was a very salty preparation. The Chicken sukha was pieces of bones in an uncooked thick masala paste, as thick as shrikhand and tasted salty. Worst malwani food ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malvani fat fish is a restaurant at Dadar with some amazing fish thali's. We have experienced the dine in as well as the delivery . The dine in is highly recommended as the food especially the fried fish tastes best hot. We ordered for the bombil,surmai and pomfret fry. Along with the prawns curry and crabs masala. The portions were generous and the food is very affordable .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Disappointed! Well people if you want to get disappointed, order food from this restaurant. It's a type of restaurant were you are paying more and getting nothing but frustrated, you will be left unsatisfied even when you are paying a healthy amount of money. The restaurant has 4.2 rating, maybe based on the way they loot people. Here is pic of the food I ordered today on 23rd April 2021 My dad's birthday wherein I ordered a crab masala from here. And let me tell you crab masala would cost you Rs 280 in this restaurant. I have had crab in many malwani restaurants in Mumbai and in many where the price is above Rs 200 you would get 1 whole crab and a half crab. But here the case is opposite. For Rs 280 you are getting only 1 small crab which is clearly seen in the pic for comparison I have placed a medium size lemon at side. And let me 1 more things the gravy is just as any normal hotel grave but in less quantity.
So here's my recommendation, if you want to enjoy any nice malwani delicacy order from any restaurant at N.M Joshi road.
