★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was on my bucket list on my recent visit to India, as I intended to vist some of the places I used to frequent in the '80's. The unique taste of Batavada was still lingering in my taste buds and hence I specifically took Uber from Vile - Parle, only to be waiting outside from 10:00 a.m. ( when this restaurant is scheduled to open ) to 10:45 ! Though this restaurant has been around for more than 100 Years creating a mass fan following, that doesn't given them an option for not following their timings ! I ordered Batata Vada and Thali Peeth, both the dishes were as good as I had tasted it years ago ! For the taste and quality of the dishes, I would give them 5*, but, for keeping the customers , anxiously waiting for the place to open by not following their timings, overall, I would give them 3 *.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place multiple times before going in alone. Visited dadar for some work and visited the Swami Math before going here. The speed with which the waiters help u is just great. I could see 3-4 waiters serving multiple people at same time. This requires expertise and I would personally suggest to go for it alone or with family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant have been near the Dadar station for years and they have maintained their consistency. The restaurant is place on a busy market area and the restaurant is so calm and good when compared to the busy street. A good place for a snack and refreshments and is budget friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the cleanest places to eat near Dadar station. It is spacious, sitting arrangement is good, there was a sanitizer bottle at the entrance too.
Misal was served in a bowl on a big plate something other restaurants should do. It had a very unique taste compared to other Maharashtrian restuarants in Dadar where people go to eat misal. I would prefer this over others.
It was slightly spicy compared to others but still not something a spice lover would enjoy. Quantity was good.
They also serve delicious simple homely thali. Have few varities of soda. Puranpoli is something I cherish and here it is available.
Staff is polite, UPI payment is accepted.

We tried Puri Bhaji it was good in taste, simple and yummy,
We also tried piyush , do try it it was the best! We would highly recommend you to try, it's located near Dadar Station, so do visit this place if you near Dadar, A very old place serving delicious food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for evening snacks on a weekday. Restaurant is located on the main road opposite to Dadar railway station.
This is a local Maharashtrian cuisine. Reasonable price, quick service and delicious food. Misal Pav was outstanding, it was yummy ?. Vada (Aloo bonda) was delicious and the Maharashtrian chapathi (made of mixed pulses) was hot, crispy and delicious ?? All the snacks were delicious.
Only concern is the server was not friendly, he was rude and arrogant. All the people here rude and unfriendly.
If you are a tourist check out this restaurant for some great local food but beware the service will not be friendly.
