★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice forest, one of the calm and cutest forest of North Bankura. Few years ago there were numerous plant species. But now it becomes mostly deep scrubs. Still three are some big trees. The verginity may alter but it is still a great forest. There are monkeys, wild boar, big snakes, rabbits etc . It is situated just on right bank of river Damodar. Through its heart there is flowing a tributary namely Gaighata.
