This station also has depiction of arts and notice of recent plays being hosted displayed on the premises walls. The walls showed the history how this place got its name, and how it looked before and after independence. There is also a Photo exhibition on the walls of Ponds in Kerala and how they played as a social equaliser

Quite a busy bus stop in spite of the Metro station. All types of buses from the normal ones to the air-conditioned ones to the battery-operated ones pass through this bus stop, ferrying passengers to all corners of the metropolis.
A very well-maintained bus stop in a very hygienic and high-profile location, through which there is a lot of VIP traffic.
