And best place if you want to explore streets of Old Ahmedabad and experience in First heritage city of Ahmedabad. No idea about price of stay or food! But went for some shoot there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best mansion converted into heritage property. This is located away from city's hustle bustle in a very artistically curated 200 year old building. The best way to know old city and its heritage starts from here. You will be spellbound by the wood work at the central courtyard as well as exterior wall. The pillar brackets are marvellous and the front mansion is also equally awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stars are for the well appointed rooms in the property.. but the property itself is located in the super busy part of old Ahmedabad. The website of house of mg claimed that they organise shuttle pick up and drop service but the shuttle is essentially just an auto.. sometimes their own and many times regular autos rented.. at slightly odd hours you will be left to fend for yourself and make your way to and from the property. So pls don't stay here if your flight is arriving or deparating at an odd hour. Also the staff at the haveli is fairly un helpful. I wish they had spent some time with staff training at a semi luxury property.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restored Mangal Das ni Haveli brings out the architectural excellence and one of the most beautiful haveli in the Old city. The cafe has a limited menu but taste good. At night the spaces looks mesmerising and gave you that it was worth visiting it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mangaldas ni Haveli is one of the most famous attractions of our city. Its located in the middle of the old city. Its close by 2kms from the House of MG. The inside decor of the Haveli is very lavish. The white walls and colourful artworks inside it are the most beautiful things to explore. The Haveli has also got a Cafe inside it which has all kinds of local food of our city and the Haveli also has all kind of Modern facilities to avail though its located in the centre of Pols of our city. Its a must visit place for all the people who are visiting first time Ahmedabad.

The location is fantastic. It has its own character.
Rooms are gorgeous and so is the ambiance of the entire place. It was an old haveli (Villa) that has been conveyed into hotel. With all modern facilitates it brings to back in the early 1900’s architecture.
Food at Pol Kohli (the cafe) is good too.
Plus You have Easy access to so many street food vendors in the vicinity.
Manek chowk (night street food market) is just a comfortable 3 to 4 minutes walk.
I have stayed in almost all room types at this place and it just keeps getting better every time :)
Do visit ManekChowk, Jumma Masjid, Lanes around this place and shopping arcades.
Love being at this place. Coming back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambiance is great. But food options were unavailable when we visited. Only available items were cold coffee and juice (not fresh, but packaged) which were way too much overpriced and lacked taste and lusture.
Can visit here for some pics, since it's an old heritage building. (Photography is actually prohibited, but somehow the staff just asked us not to do once, after which we still continued, but they didn't resist)
