★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is perhaps the only haveli in full fledged working condition in the city. It was built in 1835 at the cost of about Rs one lakh in those days. Today there is seventh gen in this Haveli. It is extra ordinary so far architecture n sanitation etc are concerned. One room is fully painted walls of originals. It has many cellers(Bhoyara) n water tank etc. it ad measures more than about 600 sq yds construction. Even today Daily Pooja Navratri, Diwali Poojan,Janmashtami, Ganapati etc are being celebrated. It’s residents are famous for kite flying n kite collection.there is family get together on 14-15/Jan n Diwali each year. I feel proud to be part of it. It is not open to the visitors. Some students were allowed to write thesis on it. Film n serial shooting like Yogi etc. were done here . It is unmatched n unique haveli of its kind .many buildings of this pole were owned by the one who built it Shri Chhotabhai Bapabhai along with other properties at various places like Ambaji , Bombay etc.
