★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was traveling alone and it was my first trip to varanasi and Kumbh mela. I am immensely satisfied with Binith’s services and felt like I was traveling with family. He was constantly guiding and tailoring the tour as per my interests.
I approached Binith after reading the reviews on the internet and after speaking to him, I felt very comfortable. He organized my trip in 4 days, and the accommodation provided was great. He is well connected and knowledgeable about the area which made navigating through the mela and in Kashi very comfortable. Also he provided me with the opportunity to perform rituals in kumbh mela with one of the renowned sadhu .
Overall, I had a memorable and great spiritual experience. I am looking forward to many more such trips with Manglam travels, and I would recommend him highly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I were looking for a custom insider’s tour of Varanasi. This tour with Binit Mishra far exceeded our expectations . We learned so much about Hinduism and respect for various rituals and relationships among the deities we felt we could earn an academic degree! We saw amazing sites. We were advised when photos were acceptable, and when the best way to show respect to a culture other than our own was to take photos with our minds rather than pointing a camera at intimate unacceptable times.
The tour was very full in the short 2 1/2 days. We met students in religious training and got to understand their mindset and perspectives.
My wife has a special interest in textiles, and Binit worked to meticulously bring us into many behind the scenes meetings with people producing textiles with multiple techniques. Several of the people we met were themselves great instructors. We experienced and learned a lot.
The food places he brought us to catered precisely to our stated desires. He was very sensitive to our wishes.
He advised on appropriate tipping when we asked. We were always at the right place for various festivals at the right time. It is likely we could have hired boats for a few less rupees without the guide who continually provided us remarkable insights, but the reason we hire a guide is for knowledge, insight and perspective. Ignorance and missing these opportunities may be a little cheaper, but that is not why we made the investment in time and travel expense to come to Varanasi.
Binit is an awesome person— passionate about his family, his city, his religion, his culture, and about being a thoroughly exceptional educator. And, he’s a lot of fun.
This is not the cheapest tour. However, if you are looking for the most impactfal experience for your limited time, the fees are a terrific value investment, as impactful as any tour guiding we have experienced. And we travel a lot.

He is very friendly and warm and easy to talk to. His English is very good. He enriched our experience of Varanasi immensely, and I strongly recommend him.

Saw good reviews about Binit and sent out a message with my requirements via whatsapp and from that moment until I left ...the thing I was most impressed was the smooth and effective communication. He followed up and made sure everything was alright every step of the way. He arranged for a Varanasi boat trip, a trip to Kumbh Mela and Bodhgaya and return airport trips. The Vehicles and drivers were good. The Innova for Bodhgaya was a bit old but driver was good. Overall even though he was slightly on the expensive side you cannot complain on the service and I was willing to pay the extra for it. Would definitely recommend if you are flexible on the budget.Appreciate Binit and team for their service.

He has an encyclopedic knowledge of its temples and history. His south Varansi heritage tour showed us a side of the city we would not have been able to access on our own, and he customized the rest of our tour to our specifications. His driver Vishal navigated tough traffic jams easily. His speaks fluent English and is comfortable with American idioms. He is a trustworthy companion to help navigate the challenges of Varansi to unlock its wonder.

He took us not only into a guided tour of the city but gently into the culture, manners, spirituals. One of the best 2-days tour we had in our life. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've just returned from spending three days in Varanasi with Binit of Mangalam tours. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I recommend Binit and Maglam Travels unconditionally. If you want to see the ancient, holy city of Varanasi, this is the way to do it!
Binit grew up around Varanasi, and his love for this city and deep knowledge of the history, culture, religions, and geography of this place were unmistakable. While he made sure I had the standard tourist experiences (boat rides on the Ganges, seeing the evening fire ceremonies, etc) he was also able to show me the sort of authentic stuff that only a local knows about. We were able to visit temples, talk with holy men, and experience the city in amazing ways.
Binit is also completely professional, and incredibly friendly and kind. He likes to say "You come to Varanasi as a client, and you leave as a friend." That's exactly how I felt.
I had several once-in-a-lifetime moments on this trip, and Binit was the one who made them happen. Touring with him was an awesome experience, and I recommend him unconditionally!
