★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your looking for an honest hardworking intelligent guide then look no further! Our full day tour in Varanasi was amazing thanks to priya, her knowledge and professionalism was beyond expectations she allowed my daughter and I to tailor the day specifically to us, she never pointed us to one particular shop EVER yet somehow was able to locate everything we wanted to buy including very rare pure oils, she had a kind and gentle manner yet always made us feel safe and well looked after, she took us to all the usual tourist spots but also had surprise hidden things off the usual grid (won’t spoil the surprise here) which we are still in awe about! Women need to empower other women and Priya is to be congratulated for having the strength and courage starting her own business in a male dominated industry. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Priya was a fabulous guide as she showed me around Varanasi. Her work and connection with local weavers was a highlight, as well as her inside knowledge of the music, food and shopping districts in the city. I highly recommend Priya to any woman or families looking for a guide in Varanasi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I contacted Priya through Instagram after doing lots of research to find a good tour guide. ‘Varanasi women’s tours’ sounded like the perfect one for me! I was quite scared in Varanasi. They have a 40% employment rate meaning there are lots of poverished areas. Priya helped me feel safe and she was so informative and fun! Her price was excellent. I posted about her on my blog without her even asking because I want all my friends to meet her if they go. The flower market was my favorite spot.
Love Ayeesha. (22 year old kiwi) xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Priya is a wonderful guide. I did the Walking Tour around the northern part of the city which includes the Shiva temple, burning Ghats, flower market, Saree market and a lovely stop at Blue Lassi for the best lassi I've had. Along the way we saw loads of other things, just daily life in Varanasi. Priya's knowledge of Varanasi history and modern life is fantastic. She is also an advocate for womens rights and is passionate about working women in India, so we had some great conversations. I wish I had more time to do other tours with her!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friend visited Varanasi recently and we could not have been happier with our experience with Varanasi Women Tours. Our guide named Priya assisted us in every possible way to plan our Varanasi visit memorable.
She was so thoughtful and patient while sharing every details of the places we have visited. We felt like we did this tour with a friend. She told us about her new launch Delhi women Tours for female travellers in Delhi also. We were so happy to know that because we were going back to Delhi to stay there. We felt safe and well cared for, and were quite impressed by how smoothly everything went. She guided us for local street shopping and also for amazing authentic food of Varanasi.
Selecting a tour planner and advisor can be so frustrating. Luckily not in my case. I could not be more pleased with every component of our adventure and must give Priya and the tour company the highest marks possible. Thank you!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I absolutely loved our full day tour with Priya - easily the highlight of our time in Varanasi!
Priya was engaging, energetic, knowledgeable and refreshingly candid about life in Varanasi and in India, especially from a woman’s perspective. Her personal stories and insights were probably our favorite part of the wonderful day we spent with her.
Priya led us to places we would never encounter on our own (despite our being veteran India travelers), and we saw some of the most charming corners of the city and learned so much about local religion, commerce, history, society and generally just what lies behind the crazy pulse of Varanasi.
We almost never hire guides (we pride ourselves on independent travel and research, and ‘getting lost’), but this was truly different, and we highly recommend Priya to anybody wanting a really special, personalized experience in Varanasi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Banaras the second day i visit India. And yes i’m a bit scared since i heard lot’s of warnings for woman to travel solo to India. Not to mention that a cab driver scammed me on my first day. However, choosing Priya as my tour guide was the best decision i made. She’s been very responsive since the beginning which makes me feel comfort cause i know i will not left confuse or worried. I come early than planned meeting time and she’s ok with that, then we watch morning aarti which was awesomeeee. We continue morning boat, traditional wrestling gym, BHU, monkey temple, weaving area, flower market, blue lassie, fire pan, evening boat looking at atleast 8 cremations in manikarnika ghat and arti.
Priya explain thorough about the place, activities, ceremonies and God, i even learn to differentiate female and male body that passes us when we drink blue lassi. Not only that, she treat me very well, and makes me feel comfort to share and discuss bout our life, we talked many things. It was very relieving, i come there to mend my broken heart. And she inspires me to keep on going through her life story, that women are very strong.
Priya also very kind, i dont want spend free time alone, she invited me to her home and she fed me the best idli and gulab jamun i’ve ever taste for breakfast, chapati with bhindi potato for lunch super yummy. She’s also allowed me to pray in her home, im a moslem.
Thanks priya for giving me great memories about varanasi. I wish you best luck in growing your tour business :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arranged my airport transfers, walking tour, boat trips and day tour to Sarnath with Varanasi Women Tours - Priya - and was so delighted. Everything was clear and explained and tailored to my schedule and interests. Not to mention excellent value for money.
The afternoon walking tour and night time boat and aarti were just perfect. Priya is such a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We chatted happily and she allowed me plenty of time to take photos and see things as we explored the northern part of the town with all its narrow alleyways. And the lassi and Blue lassie was delicious! Our boatman was excellent and positioned us right up front for the aarti ceremony. We also arranged him for a morning boat trip and that was the highlight of my time. So peaceful watching the city wake up as the sun rose.
The day trip to Sarnth was great (shame about the traffic) and I was given all the time I wanted to meditation, contemplate and soak up the atmosphere of this holy place.
To top it all off, Priya invited me to lunch with her and her family, which was so yum and lovely to chat with her further, while I had a beautiful mehindi (henna) done.
The airport transfers were prompt and hassle free.
Highly recommend anyone to organise their time with Priya and team. Thank yo so much Priya, my new sister in India!
