★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Matrikapottery by Disha!! Where do I start… I always wanted to learn pottery had even visited another studio many years back but was destined to meet Disha through Instagram!!! Followed her for a while and seeing her work made me fell for pottery again jumped at the opportunity when she posted basic course for beginners, will be soon enrolling for intermediate level. the studios is a cozy place, An amazing way your unwind after a stressful work day!!
About Disha she is extremely patient and calm teacher. Learning from her has been a great pleasure. She answers all the questions and doubts very patiently encourages her students to be independent by keeping a close eye
I would highly recommend Disha @Matrika pottery to anyone who’s looking to pick up pottery as a skill, therapy or just relax!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted to do something fun together for a friend's birthday, and that's when we came across 'Matrika Pottery'. We did the one day workshop where we learnt the basics of pottery, tried our hand at throwing and experimented with hand modelling. Disha, the founder and artist at Matrika pottery was an absolute delight and helped us through the entire process. Not only did we have so much fun learning about pottery, we were so inspired by the end of it all by the artist and her work. She also gave me the opportunity to paint and glaze the cup I made, and she encouraged us to do most of the pottery ourselves so we can truly feel it was our own handicraft. We really appreciated that sentiment. All in all, a beautiful experience with Matrika Pottery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined Matrika Pottery around 2 months back for the Beginner Course. I was always fascinated by this art and wanted to experience it first-hand. Honestly, my decision of learning pottery especially at Matrika Pottery Studio has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Disha is really sweet and an absolutely amazing teacher. I can’t thank her enough for helping me find my passion for pottery. She made the classes really fun and also made it very easy for us to learn the techniques.
She even has a beautiful Instagram page which is worth following.
Definitely had an amazing experience at Matrika Pottery Studio. I highly recommend it.

I have completed my beginners and intermediate classes in wheel throwing and it has been an absolutely amazing and calming experience. Disha is very patient and takes individual attention to every student. She is really sweet and takes personal interest in your craft. Working with clay has been my therapy during the weekends. Looking forward to learn more aspects of pottery from her. Matrika pottery studio is surely my happy place :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for a wheel throwing and underglazing workshop to Matrika with my friends. Pottery and painting at the studio was so therapeutic, FUN and interesting!! Disha is so patient and kind. We learned so much- from clay composition to techniques to common mistakes within the span on only two workshops!!! Disha's knowledge and passion were a delight to witness!! Looking forward to attending some of her other workshops soonest ?

Right from inquiry call to getting the final deliverable, Disha was every bit a delight to interact with. She gave the right guidance at every step, was very patient and was super interactive throughout the session. Do look out for her pottery sessions and workshops if you want to do something unique and fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for a wheel throwing workshop at Disha's lovely home studio with my two friends and it was one of the best experiences of my life!! Disha is everything you want a teacher to be - knowledgeable, patient, kind! She answered all our questions and explained to us what we were doing even as she guided us. I love that she offers a variety of workshops and I'm looking forward to joining her regular classes. Also her studio is so cute and cozy, a must visit if you're in mumbai!
