I found the course extremely structured, professional conducted, hands-on, well balanced on creativity and technical aspects of pottery. I would recommend everyone to attempt pottery - whether it’s a short weekend workshop or a longer immersive course - you wont be disappointed. You will only walk out with richer experiences and insights on not just pottery, but beyond pottery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! Nestled in a beautiful, quiet green haven, right in the middle of Pali Hill, the pottery lab has given me my weekly dose of joy for the last year.
I started with the basic class on a whim, and because I enjoyed it so much I continued with the advanced classes. Rekha has been an amazing teacher - not only focussing on the “art” but also on the craft. I love that she insists on learning technique and understanding the craft, along with a free flow of creative expression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended a beginner's course at The Pottery Lab and loved it. The class sizes are small allowing every individual their fair share of the instructor's attention. Rekha Goyal is an encouraging and supportive teacher who willingly shares her experience to identify and rectify typical pitfalls. There is a clear framework of what is to be covered in the sessions and yet enough room for creativity. I'm looking forward to going back when things settle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a weekday beginners pottery class from Feb to March this year under Ms Priya Patil.
The studio is semi outdoor & very well ventilated. The batch is kept small which allowed us to observe all COVID safety protocols (we wore masks the whole time).
The class taught all of the basics but it was still a lot of fun.
We learnt different methods of hand building as well as got to try the pottery wheel, which is a lot harder than it sounds. All in all if you'd like to learn pottery for fun or want to take it seriously, the course is a wonderful first step.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did 10 sessions with Rekha Goyal at her pottery studio in Bandra. Her studio is such a serene green open place that it immediately transforms your mind into a creative space. She supervises all sessions, and since the batch size is small, everyone gets her personal attention. Got to learn multiple techniques in a short span of time. Most importantly, Rekha emphasises on learning pottery not just as a 10 session hobby, but also as something that one could take up professionally. Her focus is following the right technique. Highly recommend this beautiful experience.
