★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This centre uses a Philips proDiva MRI machine which is open at both ends. This is good for patients who have claustrophobia or fear of enclosed spaces.
The machine does make noise but they also give you a headphone (only for patient).
There is no provision for wheelchair, so if you require it , take one of your own. They do have stretchers though.
Metallic objects are anyways not permitted inside the MRI room, so be careful of your belongings as you will have to keep them outside. Best to go in groups of 3, 1 patient, 1 person who can be inside the room and 1 person outside.
Ask beforehand the time it will take for the entire process. It will depend on the number of regions
that are to be scanned. Scanning of single region takes around 30 min approx. Eg lower back can take 30min, Cervical area will take another 30min etc. You will have to lay still as excessive movement will result in a bad scan and the process will have to be repeated.
If contrast is needed that will take additional time and is billed separately.
5 stars coz of the machine and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing. Had to wait in a queue but still they were not adhering it to the first come first serve. The guy at the reception is so casual and lazy. Had to remind him consistently to create an appointment as per the queue however he doesn’t seem to listen anyone rather he keep on chatting over his phone and wasting everyone’s time. Never recommend anyone to come and waste your whole day just to get an appointment for diagnosis. Pathetic service

Reason: You will have to wait for 3-4 hrs for a simple USG. Staff is also very impolite.They take you as granted.This is all because of nexus between Doctor and such labs.
