★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the top most floor of Axis Mall Newtown. Was my first time dining out here and was pleasantly surprised by their service and supreme quality of food even though the ambience is average at best.
We had ordered Malaysian Murg Kebab and Assorted Veg platter and the Kebab was so juicy and succulent and tasty. Was slightly on the spicy side and heavy. In the veg platter they served Mushroom, Paneer, Capsicum, Babycorn etc. Not a huge fan of veg food but they were all very well cooked and delicious with ample quantity.
To cap off the day we ordered two mocktails(one on Mango base and the other pertaining to sprite and lime) and both were like honey to our dry throats but a tad bit costly.
Overall Mehak-E-Punjab is a must try for first timers atleast and there is an adjacent drink dine in place too. We visited post lockdown and still it was a full house(Both normal dine in and drink dine in) on a Saturday Afternoon. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience of visiting this place has always been a delight. The restaurant has 2 sections, one being the family restaurant area and the second being the bar cup restaurant section. The alcohol prices are affordable in addition to the food. The quality and taste of food served here is great. There are several options to order food from however I always associate this place with awesome North Indian food. The butter Naan goes great with Kolhapuri Chicken/ Chicken Tikka Masala or Chicken Bharta and they never disappoint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was Okay. Quality and quantity wise it was good but taste wise it was okay.
Good thing is that they do serve alcohol but in a different area. They have a separate area for drinks and dinner. You can go out there with your family.
Staff is polite but I felt that there service is a bit delayed in the non-drinking section as they prioritise the drinking section.
Would recommend not to order their mix veg as we ordered and the veggies where uncooked. And would recommend to try thier Stuffed Aloo dum and Dal makhani that were good.

Dark interior so in the daytime it was not so bright. So full of yellow bulb inside the restaurant was not appropriate for the interior
Now the accompaniment with foods i.e pickles, onion and chilli was old so that needed to be replaced.
Tasted the butter and plain naan it's was okay.
Then masala kulcha was good.
Special Paneer masala gravy was okay with medium spicy. The paneer was soft but a day old.
The layering on paneer was thick instead of thin layer.
What I really liked jeera rice.
Chicken Preparation was okay with small pieces huge gravy.
Now at the end the server asked for tip specifically. So here Tip is mandatory.
Not so crowded. Waiting time is 10-15 minutes if it's less crowded.
Overall Costly than the standard restaurant in the vicinity. Quantity wise okay but taste was bland not so unique.
