i had been to this place for my desktop and laptop repairs when i reached i met mr samir he understood my both the computer problems and told me that we will check and give estimate by evening in the evening he called and gave a proper bifurcation of all the works to be done and insaid ok to go ahead estimated time to repair desktop was 2 days and laptop was 3-4 days within 1 day i got a call that the desktop is repaired and done ok and i told samir ji to backup and format the same that was also done within 2-4 hrs all my data and stuff was intact and at the same place where i had kept thanks samir ji at least 1 pc started so my office work was not held he took 3 days to repair laptop as the body was also damaged so it was done properly and looked good on the 3rd day within 3 days of time both of my computers were done and perfect to use for next 2 yrs inthank his engg vishal and samir ji for the prompt repairs and servicing i strongly recommend this place to all regards jayesh

My acer gateway laptop was getting powered on, off and on, and for the same reason I googled and found this place. Which was not far from where I live. I took my laptop there and told the engineers about the problem. They checked it in my presence and that very moment it just got powered on. They said that they will need to put it on test and find the reason as why it does not powered-on sometimes. I gave them my windows login password and told them specifically about the important data in my laptop and they assured me of that saying that I souldn't worry about it. Next day I got a call from Samir and he said that fan and heat sink along with thd battery needed to be changed (my battery was almost done though) and for the same he sent me the quotation and date of repairing and servicing (2-3 days) and I okayed it. Again after a couple of days I received a message and i was told that one of the BIOS IC had some issues and needed to be replaced. I was given the quotation and date for the same and I okayed it. A week passed by and on the day which I was supposed to receive the laptop back (thursday it was), I was not in town and I told this guy that I would be back on sunday and I can pick then. For which he said he has no problem, though the service center remains closed, he will open it to deliver my laptop. Comes sunday and i tried to get in touch, unsuccessfully till afternoon when my call was finally answered. I was told that my laptop started working for a couple of days after IC replacement but a day back it just powered off and then I was told to get the motherboard replaced. I was given the quotation for the same. Now the cost of repair and servicing reached above 10K. I still okayed it and i was told that i should be able to get my laptop back on Tuesday. Comes Tuesday and I was told that the motherboard was ordered from Delhi and will take another 2-3 days. I had lost it by this time and asked for returning of my laptop. I was told that I will have to wait till next day afternoon as the laptop motherboard was given to the dealer for sampling. I went the next afternoon to pick it and this gentleman felt sorry for the events and asked me not to pay even for the servicing. But I paid him 1k thinking that his guys had spent time in finding the problems and they had done the servicing part. The same evening, just to take a second opinion, I found through google another laptop repair guy (who also was rated Very high by most of his customers). I called him and he came to my place to pick my laptop. I told him about all the events as they took place. He checked it the next morning and called me saying that my laptop motherboard was tempered badly and it needed to be replaced. He also told me that sticker on my laptop says 320GB HDD but inside it's a 500GB HDD. I told him to bring the laptop back. When he brought my laptop back I asked him whether there was any way to check data from my dead laptop HDD. He had this jacket which he connected to my other make-shift laptop to check. Hard disk was totally empty. I was completely shocked coz it had my work related data and mails of at least 1 year that did not have any back up. I called Samir and he asked me to bring my laptop to his servicd center so that he can try to recover data through some data recovery software. Upon initial findings of C partition only I was sure that the HDD wasn't mine (coz mine had C and D partitions of approx 144GB capacity each which I would see everyday and my D partition hardly had 13-14 GB space left, and this HDD was showing 365GB of unallocated space). He still requested me to wait for one more day so that he can deep scan the drive through recovery software. Next day i was told that the scan results could not find any data except for some previously installed windows files. I requested Samir to check if the HDD was replaced by mistake. He assured me that it cannot happen at his place and that he had also checked with his dealers about the same. I am still wondering how can a working HDD completely lose its data,or if it's my original one.
