Visited melt town cafe at law college road. The ambience is quite soothing and one of the best cafe in pune to have a good time with your friends and close ones. Tried their cornchious cheese balls, teriyaki noodles, korean donut with blueberry and dark chocolate filling, veg focacia sandwich and also roasted garlic chicken. All the food items were fabulous taste and presentation wise. The star of the evening was The roasted garlic chicken for me. Do visit this place.

Beautiful cafe off law college road Ambience is beautiful with 3 different seating areas each with their own unique ambience. They have a beautiful Christmas decor currently and are running a special Christmas menu We started with the Christmas holiday punch which had real rosemary leaves and was awesome. Then we had the Beer batter onion rings which was unique and crunchy. Next we had the Murghan kebab which was boneless chicken kebabs which were delicious . After this we had the Kung pao cottage cheese which was good , well made. For the main course we ordered the aglio olio pepperoni pasta and the mushroom cream on oriental rice with Morocco lemon chicken. All three were visually appealing and tasty and fresh. Next we moved on to desserts where we had the Gifty pastry made to look like a gift box made from chocolate cake with fondant covering Next we had the chocolate cigar which was not much to look at but once we tasted it it was good. Ended our meal with a cafe miel and a personalized cafe mocha. Both were superbly prepared from premium coffee beans and was just awesome. You have to try their coffee it's to die for Portions are a little less compared to the price but Overall a great experience definitely recommended. Fancy your name on your Coffee?.. head over to Melt Town cafe, Pune for an experience beyond imagination! Try their all new season spl Christmas Limited Edition Menu available till year end and dig in to those grubs and goodies on the cards. I did and glad I am for it. Firstly, the cafe is a whopper! It has plenty of seating area to include a first floor with a mocktail bar and that is a plus. It also has a Baithak where you can sit down with  friends reminiscent of the yesteryears- they even have a wall hung pic of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey, the F.R.I.E.N.D.S - I particularly liked a wall art here which depicts the Canal Grande or the Grand Canal in Venice with a tourist couple riding a Gondola. Brilliant! Other props and decor are also seemingly done artistically, especially the Big Ben. Let me dwell now on the good part, the food part:- Murghan Kebab- Soft, succulent, well marinated kebabs, well spiced and melt in the mouth. It also has a characteristic glazed red tint to it which is quite inviting. Beer Battered Onion Rings- Compared to the usual onion rings, these ones are more fluffy, crunchy and you can taste the fermentation effect of the beer on the batter. Kudos chef! Cottage Cheese tossed in Kung Pao- The quintessential American-Chinese innovation/ invention; as to the origins of the dish there are many schools of thought which claim it to be from the sichuan province of China but the Americans revolutionized it for sure and rechristened it to Kung Pao from the original Gong Bao. It characteristically contains peanuts, cashews, welsh onions and bell peppers apart from the usual suspects, the garlic and ginger. I am giving these folks a thumbs up for nailing this dish! Spaghetti Aglio e olio- the spaghetti was cooked to perfection, this Napolitan invention has three major ingredients- loads of olive oil, garlic and a sprinkle of parsley. Anything else you add is generosity; well these folks used in addition to the three oregano, parmesan cheese strips, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers- what I reckon from memory! I am soon publishing my blog post on the spaghetti/ noodle war, so sit tight while I spill the beans ab initio here. Even though I hate to admit it, here goes:- The concept of Spaghetti pasta was brought into Italy by Marco Polo on his renowned journey back from China in the 13th Century. So Senore... Comprende? ... Noodles predates Spaghetti... but I like Spaghetti! Oriental Rice with Mushroom sauce-  This is a strikingly good looking dish, optimally cooked rice sautéed in a wok with mushroom sauce in the middle with the consistency of a stroganoff, nicely done- very impressive! Moroccan Lemon Chicken with Rice- This Lemon chicken is mildly spiced, yellow in colour, texture and consistentcy is very alike Burmese Khowsuey, you can taste flavours of cinnamon, garlic, thyme, citrus and parlsey. Chicken is well cooked and soft and matches the mild flavours. Plated very artfully, it looks like a large uramaki roll, if I can put it that way. Try the Gifty Pastry for dessert, nicely gift wrapped with pastry dough in lavender and crimson, it is a pleasing sight to just look at it. As you dig in, it reveals the melliflous choco- pastry inside. Also there are Chocolate Cigar Rolls, crispy gried pastry outside and oozy chocolate inside- quite a treat! Wash it all down with a three layered Honey Cinnamon Coffee, very refreshing, the aromas of the coffee tickling your nostrils is a feeling better left unexplained. Melt Town has proved that they are going to rock the Pune Gastronomic Journey with their lip smacking epicurean wonders- mark my words!

Meltown Cafe has brought a special menu for Christmas to be served from 25th to 31st of December. Everything here seems nice and happy. Christmas decorations and the ambeince around the cafe is made to make our last days of the year the best ones. We visited them in pre-christmas days and got ourselves an delightful night as all. The decoration and the ambeince in itself is so attractive and cozy, which makes it pretty much a fancy place. The wall paintings, lighting and the special ground seating makes it an overwhelming place. We obviously tried from the Special Christmas Menu which included- •Drinks Christmas Holiday Punch cafe Miel (Coffee) •Appetizers Beer Batter Onion Ring Murgan Kabab Kumpha Cottage Cheese Buffalo Wings •Main Course Spaghetti Moroccan Lemon Chicken Oriental Rice •Desserts Gifty Pastry Chocolate Cigar Rolls Every seemed tasty with decent quantity and quality. Enjoyed the overall evening with the ambeince and the perfect food! Must visit place..

Busting the Myth- All looks and no substance..! The entrance hangs a sign that reads open from 5AM. God only knows what they serve from that time as when we went at 9 15AM today, to have a fresh start for the New Year, at one of the most talked about cafes in town, the Chef hadn't even come and the guy behind the counter asked us to order coffee only and wait until the chef arrives. We duly did that and ordered Cappuccino and a Latte which wasn't bad at all but then again there are better coffee places in town. The interiors are good and neatly organized to create a balance between nature and modern designs and the color tones are soothing. This is probably the best ambience that supports the young crowd that frequently visit here. Spacious seating on ground floor and a lavish party area on 1st floor is complemented further with outdoor seating as well. Full marks to these guys for making use of space and design elements in the form of smiley cushions and all. Finally after half an hour, the chef arrived and we ordered Spanish omelette and Arabiatta Pasta. Omelette was fine but the potatoes could have been boiled a bit more. The pasta was literally watery and not just creamy thick. Not gonna return here anytime soon but its a good place for dates and quick bites and for a fun loving crowd for whom ambience and getting together to play jenga or cards make more of a difference than the food provided.
