Mid Orchard Cottage - Naggar

My time at Mid Orchard: A three day plan that was transformed into three weeks of lifelong memories. The property fulfils on its promises of delicious food, a clean and sanitary environment, and WiFi and electricity backup among others. It boasts its central location amidst lush Apple orchards and is certain to leave a mark on your travel. In my time there, I met new people, had new experiences, and I will certainly be back! :)

This was my first time in Himachal and I enjoyed every bit of it. Before I write the review, I must start by sharing that I extended my trip twice and cancelled two flights because of how good my stay here was. I stayed for almost 50 days. You cannot miss this property because of just how beautiful it is. Not only is it easy on the eyes from outside, the rooms and the interiors are equally well maintained. The view from the cottage is breathtaking just like the superior service of everyone there. The co-owners( Sahil, Abhishek & Akshay) treat the staff with utmost respect. They don’t work for each other but work together like a family. I was hesitant on my first day because I travelled solo but Sahil welcomed me and soon I made so many friends - friends that I will never forget and Sahil is one of them. There’s something so magical about the place and the people I met there. I owe a BIG THANK YOU to Monu(property manager), Kushal(chef and made sure I ate my food on time) and Gaggan(who btw sings really well) They are an asset to this property. Sahil is your go to person if you’re looking for good places to visit around the property and will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is smooth. The food is simple and homemade with fresh produce. They have a nice electric kettle that we used in the common area to drink warm water. Rooms are clean and they’ll have a nearby laundry service guy come over and pick up your clothes should you need your clothes washed and it comes at a minimal cost. Now, moving on to Candy who I fell in love with. She’s a cute little dog who delivered 3 puppies while I was there and she’s the most calm, patient and hungry(?) doggo ever. My mornings and evenings were taking her Rusky and Pyaare(2 dogs I met randomly outside in the neighbourhood) on a walk. The neighbourhood is pleasant and calm; you will forget that you own a cell phone because you’ll be lost amidst the mountains, blue skies, birds chirping, solitude and peace. I came here on a solo trip but I ended up with few really good friends and memories that i will cherish. A big thank you to Sahil, Abhishek, Akshay Monu, Kushal, Candy and her three babies, Pyaare and Rusky for showing me what a good time is and giving me love I never knew I needed. I felt very safe here. You guys here have a good heart and that is what will bring me here again.

What an experience I had! Travelling was easy BC(before Corona) but now you have to plan so many things and MID ORCHARD COTTAGE has a lot to offer, I booked my workation stay for a week but 3 days into my stay I thought of extending it for a longer duration. The property is run by fantastic 4 actually 5, Akshay, Abhisek, Sahil, Monu & Kushal, There wasn’t one dull moment during my stay for 75+ days!. It's home away from home.Thank you once again Mid Orchard Cottage you guys have been amazing!! Panj Tara for stay, food, staff, cleanness, ambience, hospitality. It was in awesome location. One can view snow and apple tree scenic directly from the room. Mr. Akshay has managed the entire plot so organized and decently which is more attractive. Even the caretaker Monu is very friendly and caring in term of both cleanness and food wise. And last thing within the hotel premises we can book all the activities and ride which is very helpful.

The experience was fascinating. The cottage is beautifully maintained and offers a view of the mountains you could fall in love. The people, staff and the Sahil and Akshay were like your next door friends available for anything, anytime. While one could feel home and at the same time good holiday vibes. Looking to get back to the place again.

A beautiful property in the lap of the amazing snow capped mountains. Ideal place for working from the mountains with good wifi connectivity and easy accessibility to local market, nearby tourist spots and a number of beautiful cafes. Rooms were quite spacious with good amenities. Food and services were also good. The staff also helped us to get two wheeler and cabs at reasonable prices and also guided us to a lot of nearby sight seeing spots which was an amazing experience altogether

Great 'work from Mountains' experience. Had initially planned for 1 month but ended up staying for 2.5 months. The whole vibe of the place is amazing. Working, chilling, meeting new people and enjoying the serene mountains of Naggar. It can be rarely said but it is one of those perfect places. Perfect homestay!

Our stay at Mid Orchard Cottage was really nice. The location of the property is good as it has easy accessibility to a lot of beautiful tourist spots, view points, some really nice cafes and local market. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking snow capped mountains. The food and service were also really good. It felt like a home away from home. Must visit place.
