β β β β β No doubt why people had to wait in queue. It is a small place near shovabazar metro station.They served Bengali delight fish kabiraji rapped in egg staw coating with light mustard sauce potato and salad. The fish was fresh and yes it was tasty.

β β β β β A place which gives you kind of very nice taste vibes of Kolkata.If you are a foodie and visits Kolkata , this is a place u must not miss . Fish Kabiraji is their main attraction. Price was reasonable and the taste was awesome ?. Will visit this place if I come back again to Kolkata

β β β β β An overhyped place.If anyone wants to get nostalgic,then only you can visit and spend 120 bucks for this small sized fish fry with an below average taste.
I think other so called "ordinary" restaurants serve far better fish fry than "famous" Mitra Cafe.
Their special Fish Diamond Kabiraji was average,also amount was quite good,but this one is also a bit overpriced(200 INR).

β β β β β Mitra cafe holds up to it's reputation every time I visit. Tried Prawn cutlet, Foul Cutlet, Diamond Kabiraji and Fish fry. Foul Cutlet was a bit underwhelming, due to some overdoing of marination I suppose. Don't mind the mango juice, it was homemade.?

β β β β β We got here pretty early in the morning, around 9:30am, and the experience was blissful. We had their butter toast and chaa. We wanted to try some other stuff too like chop etc but nothing is available in the morning! Either way, butter toast was lovely, chaa was lovely, the entire experience was wonderful. Must visit!
