★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we visited Mocambo cafe on 26th November, only on the basis of reviews we read. However the place had not turned out how we expected it to be. We had ordered for French fries and fish & chips. The French fries were bigger in size and extremely hard, which made it difficult for my son to it. The fish, was again quite dry and hard, with no flavour. The place had a good ambience and music though but a disappointment end of the day, considering that was the first place we explored to eat..I would not want to visit Mocambo cafe again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hail Mocambo! What a lovely place. Love the food - vegetarian mind you, I’m sure the non-veg isn’t disappointing either.
What works? Taste, quantity and price. There is zero compromise on quality and since they’re on Zomato - I don’t even have to make the jaunt to town to go grab a bite.
What doesn’t work? The ambience is a tad dated. But that’s not too bad a thing. Feels like one has travelled back in time to the 80s and 90s - that’s a small issue if anything.
Go for the food, better yet order in, I’m yet to meet a disappointing meal here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mocambo Cafe has been around for multiple decades and it was with nostalgia that a friend and I went for lunch there after 40 years. It was great having their cheese chilly toast, mutton dhansak with rice and Caramel custard as dessert. They have maintained their standard. Service was quick. Will go there again for eating other items on their extensive menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing.. Keep visiting it frequently.. Has a quaint look and feel to the place.. Food is amazing.. However their Pizza’s were disappointing.. Their guava based drink ‘Mocambo Khus Hua’ is a must try.. Lemony Mushroom is another must try..
