★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 spice is one of the best places to have Chinese food. The only problem with this place is that it takes time to get the food on table but maybe tasty food requires more time to prepare.
This time we tried the Thread chicken, Thai pot rice and red Chilli chicken and our group was very happy with the food. We will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please upgrade quality of food just the way it was before. 5 spice was always our favourite spot for lunch and dinner. Quality was way better before. I was really shocked when i got smelly not fresh fish which never happened before. Please upgrade food quality the way it was before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of my favourite Thai food joint. But this has taken a beating during lockdown. When I went today it was not its former self. Lamb items which were speciality here have been taken off the menu. The place also lost its liquor license. Even the choices of desserts has greatly reduced. The food portions are still good and whatever remains on the menu quite delicious. But the establishment has greatly cut down on number of staff and the few waiters along with the manager struggle to manage.
I am not sure it will ever grt back its past glory as a top rated mid-level eatery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a vintage outlet to me now. Been going here for almost 6 years. The taste hasn't changed neither has the generous size of portion. Complimentary salad is so good and the Schezwan chutney has been my favourite for long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have ordered food from 5 Spice in the past and always had good experience. But, today’s experience was the worst of all the oriental food I have ordered. The dumplings weren’t steamed well and was packed with lots of water which mushed up the dumplings. Totally in edible. The schezuan fried rice had some stale stench. Seemed like the sauces used were rotting. The paneer in black bean sauce had no taste of black bean sauce… it was just soy and corn starch. Pretty disappointing
