★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MTNL is presently not in good healthy state. One of the Best and Dependable Government Services is in a pathetic condition. Understand most of the Senior Staff have accepted VRS but have not received their settlement.

Went to the office with request form to disconnect the landline.
Service from the MTNL has been absolutely poor and if you need to reach them it's frustrating.
Unfriendly staff in the office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was once like a Maharatna and now is a sinking ship, the arrogancy of even senior managers is something to be experienced to see their frustration and they are still trying their approach to see how they can shift blame and responsibility.
In the.interrst of all it should be closed down immediately if there are no plans of a turnaround with fresh recruits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place looks haunted. The person at the counter obliged us to accept our cheque payment for Dolphin as we said we are people above 70yrs and cannot travel to Cherai. But so far the payment is not reflected in this month's bill

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sad to see MTNL is such shambles!! Old decrepit buildings, scarce staff and very few exchanges. Most of the MTNL exchanges have shut down and staff have left on VRS. But the billing counter staff is very helpful and polite and eager to help which is a welcome change!!
