Adani Group announced plans to develop the airstrip into a commercial international airport for passenger & cargo.
The 2000 m app. long airstrip will be capable of handling of large aircraft.
Under Regional Connectivity Scheme, flights between Ahemdabad and Mundra started in February 2018.
