About Muskaan-PAEPID
Muskaan is a story of collective will, determination and unwavering optimism. It was started in 1982 by parents and professionals filling up a void in required services and facilities for children and adults with intellectual disability (ID) and their families. Relentless hard work, honest intentions and clarity of focus steered the growth of Muskaan. The team had only one mission and that is creating growth opportunities and required services to enrich the lives of persons with ID. We knew that in order to live a fuller and dignified life, intellectually challenged children and adults needed education, vocational skills, employment and other growth opportunities. However, how to do it had been an immense challenge. Every step that we took in this direction taught us about its pragmatics. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muskan NGO is very beautiful place.Its building is also modren.Disable children come here The teachers are also very dedicated.The disable children learn modern art, drawing.They learn music and here they make candle,bakery items, scenery etc.it is very neat and clean.They made bus arrangements to pick them from hostel. Really it's eye opener to watch different activities of children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place with such a clever and well-thought of institution for people with Intellectual and other disabilities. The best fact that it cares for adults with such disabilities. Staff is extremely efficient and seem to genuinely appreciate what they are doing here. The students who come here for day school are taught so much, from life skills, to employment abilities, strength training, sports and gymnasium, technology, carpentry and so much more. Loved it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One can never hate a place where social work is done and that to so beautifully and systematically. Excellent staff, wonderful infrastructure and soothing environment for service. Every one should try to devote some of their time to this place and learn a new phase of humanity. The building is well maintained and staff are also well trained. I got an opportunity to work here as volunteer for days here through college NSS unit and always feel lucky for this opportunity which I got. Anyhow this is not a restricted place and open to everyone. One can easily go there, learn how they teach their students to create household beauty products and food items and can also contribute by buying their products.
