★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are planning to avail of services from this branch please go through this review and then decide by yourself. I really had a very bad experience and service at the Nigadi branch of Muthoot finance.
So, I would like to share that with you to make you aware.
I called the branch on 31st March. Ms. Merry told me that they are busy with year-end closing as it is 31st March, and asked me not to visit the branch on that day.
I told her that I (as a representative, as my husband was unable to visit) will visit the branch to collect the valuables, which my husband kept as a mortgage. I also told her that I will give you all the necessary documentary proofs (such as a marriage certificate) of our relationship. But she told me that it is not in line with their rules. She suggested I get a letter of authorization signed by my husband. I got the signed letter and visited the branch again. This time Ms. Heena (Manager) was very rude to me and customer service was very poor. The reason she gave me for not accepting my application was that the signature is not perfectly matching.
Additionally, Ms. Komal (another representative at the branch) told me that she might lose her job if she accepts my application.
In fact, considering the current pandemic situation, they should be more co-operate with the customer by asking not to visit the branch again and again rather they should have processed this online or try to minimize the number of visits. Also, they should see that the customer is not troubled in any way during this whole process.
I visited the branch again on 6th April 2021 with my husband. There I met Mr. Prathap (Area Manager). He gave us cordial treatment. And the process was done comparatively smoothly.
The point here, I want to mention that this time they approved my application though the signature was the same as that of last time. This time I got the valuables back.
During all this period Ms. Heena and Ms. Komal harass me mentally and do not know what they have achieved with this.
