★ ★ ★ ★ ★ N N Mondal & Sons is THE BEST place to buy or repair Violin. The founder of the shop Mr. N N Mondal was a great luthier who repaired the violin of the Violin virtuoso Yehudi Menuhin. His older son Mr. Krishna Mondal is now the owner and the torch bearer of the Mondal legacy who is also a great luthier and a great violin player of indian classical music. One, who need to buy or repair violin should go nowhere else but to this shop for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A not so good place to shop for violin. But very very unpunctual. Just doesn't keep time, and expects one to keep going to the shop every day, to get the work done. Also, gives you defective violin, to make you keep coming to the shop. A very dirty and village smartie approach to business!

And my music class has been associated with this shop and trusted them for more than 5 decades. They are honest, reliable and trustworthy. Mr. SUDHAM MONDAL and Mr. KRISHNA MONDAL are the two people I blindly trust when it comes to my instrument. They mainly deal with Violins and string instruments. But they also sell and repair other Indian instruments like Tabla, sarangi, sarod etc. I cannot go to any other place when it comes to instruments. I would only recommend this place to any person on earth.
