★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nagda is very important station on the route of New Delhi to Mumbai-Madgao-Trivendrum-Indore. Food is available at Nagda railway station and it's good in quality and tastey. You will get Poha,Kachori,Samosa,Aaloo bada, Chai,lassi, etc along with lunch and dinner thali. If your train have stop here then you should try the Poha and Chai here, also you can try other things as available.

It is an important halt for all trains that are bound for Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Bilaspur, Dehradun, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mysore, Patna, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, Varanasi, Darbhanga, Guwahati, Kolkata, Katra, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Somnath. If you have plan journey to Bhopal, Indore, Dewas, Ujjain from Kota and Jaipur then you can change train from Nagda railway station. It is well arranged railway station. Food, Book stalls are there. If you want to have food then there is a good restaurant on platform number 1. You can get good food. The disadvantage of this restaurant is that it is not opened in the morning. But after 11 am you get food from there. There are many local trains pass through this railway station from Ratlam to Indore and Ujjain and Bhopal. This station comes under western railway zone. Smart LED display makes any point assable for any passanger. The biggest negative point of Nagda is that there is an unpleasant smell comes from a clothes factory. Even in the night if you travel through Nagda you can feel that unpleasant smell. There is also a cloak room at railway station where you can put your luggage for a while.
