Somewhere mother called mahalaxmi, Kali mata, maha kali, krishnakali, swasan kali, dakhina kali, etc. In Naihati kali puja organised through the Arabinda road with glory and pride. There are six to seven kali pujas held on that day on Arabinda road or ferry ghat road. Barokalis' hight is the biggest and above two storeyed building. The smallest ones' hight is almost 11 feet tall. On that day noentry jone created in Arabinda Road for Autos and rikshas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Naihati Boro Maa is most famous and oldest Kali Puja in Naihati. if you come Naihati for Kali puja Darshan you must have to come Naihati Boro Maa Kali Puja, otherwise your Naihati Kali puja Parikrama will be incomplete. A very big amount of ornaments and jewellery made of gold and silver is used for decorating the idol of Boro Maa Kali. This is the biggest idol of Aurobindo road in Naihati. We all know that very tall idols of Goddess Kali is being worshipped at the time of Kali Puja (Diwali in West Bengal). At the time of immersion into Ganga, idol of Boro Maa goes at first and then others Kali idols follow her. Boro Maa or Boro Maa Kali has a huge fan following in all over world.
