★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place with my family of 6members for dinner buffet .
Food was goodish, neither something great nor tasteless.
One major problem that I see was slow service. Starters were served around 20-25min later, and repeat was served 15min after order. Similar story with buffet. Foods were refilled late, i felt like it was taking ages ?
Apart from this, we tasted all food and we particularly liked the mutton biriyani. It was too good.

It's time to unmask D"ilish"ousness. They have launched a new menu of hilsha that celebrate the divine flavours of the most popular fish in this season showcasing traditional flavours & some exciting twists. The Ilish festival starts from 4th sept 2020 and ends on 13 th sept. They are serving it on both lunch and dinner.
Some of the dishes that are on the menu are :-
Bhaja Elish ,Elish Bhapa , Doi Elish , Elish Paturi, Elish Bharta, Roshun bhapa Elish , Elish biryani and many more.
All main course items will be accompanied with steamed rice.
The service was awesome. They are maintaining all the hygiene and safety protocols in the restaurant. All the staffs are wearing masks and gloves while serving and cooking. The seating arrangement is also done in a proper way. Thermal checkup and sanitization of hands and bags are done before entering.
The quality of the fish was good and fresh. A perfect way to celebrate your monsoon lunch/ dinner with some authentic Hilsha dishes. A highly recommended place for food lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our lunch here few days back and really had a nice experience. There was a buffet with great variety of dishes. From potato cheese balls to noodles to kashmiri mutton biryani to misti doi and and various types of salad everything was there. They are also maintaining the safety precautions so well. Last but not the least the staffs were very welcoming and courteous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Howard Johnson has started their Iilish Festival at the Nest. The restaurant is decorated with artistic paintings showcasing the culture of Kolkata.
They have around 11-12 different types of Iilish delicacies among which we tried Ilish Biryani, Ilish Bharta and Bhapa Ilish. All the dishes were lip-smacking.
The staffs were courteous and the service was great, overall we had a great experience.

But the main part of this hotel is buffet..
Very less item for buffet.. And the quality of food is poor.. not worth for 600/- pax ...
I personally did not like any of the item, nor starter, main course or dessert...
Disappointed with food quality...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Buffet has it's own speciality. The ambience is so good that you can have conversion and do your work too. This Place is good for lunch meetings too.
The food was very tasty specially the mutton biriyani and butter chicken kebab along with crispy fish chilly as well as chicken chilly.
I would recommend you yo visit Nest Howard and try their buffet.
