★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netaji Bhavan is one of the stations of Kolkata Metro in Bhowanipore.
This name is from Netaji Bhawan, the nearby memorial hall and museum of Subhas Chandra Bose ("Netaji"). Scenes of the Netaji's life are painted inside the station.
In 1984, when the Metro opened in Kolkata (then Calcutta), it was the southern most station. The station at that time was "Bhawanipore". Later the name was changed to Netaji Bhawan.
This is an underground station with 2 tracks. The platform is of island type.

But having issue with all metro station that they don't have public washroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually this station is being run by women specially has become women operated station is just one step ahead of women empowerment. Station Master, Booking clerk, Gate keeper even RPF staff are women. Well managed station with all amenities like water cooler, centralised AC, Wi Fi facilities, Escalators and equipped with all modern facilities in case of emergency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and well maintained. Overhead display boards installed to guide and assist daily metro rail commuters on the gate specific based landmarks as well as a list of stops based on the platform you're standing on and facing.
