Previous Chairman / Chairpersons were Mrinalendu Banerjee , Nirmica Bagchi etc. . With excellent municipal services it arranges cultural & social recreative programmes throughout the year . Present Chairperson is Tripti Majumdar & Vice-chairman is Mihir Dey for 2015-20 term . Leader of opposition is Kuntala Saha .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an excellent place where people come to visit its beauty. Phuchka, Rasogolla, Egg-roll are delicious street-food. People are also living happily together. They've outstanding bonding with their neighbours. Here, we found so many doctors, teachers, schools, colleges and markets as well as many temples.

It's very neat and clean. Stuffs are helpful.
Cons:No online facilities available. Shortage of man power for few cases. Hence, come here with time in hand.
