Suitable to go to New Delhi area. Cheap & budget hotels are available. Pahadganj is also a good wholesale market.
Last plotform is in Kashmir gate side. Approaching towards old Delhi side like Red fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being one of the main station of national capital ensures of great rush at all times of the day. New delhi metro station on yellow line is within the walkable distance from both ajmeri gate (p.16) and paharganj (p.1) entrance of the ndls station. All sorts of conveyance facilities are available, additionally multiple eating joints exists. Other facilities and sanitation is satisfactory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station has come a long way in terms of modernization and still a long way to go. Facilities are more passenger centric and have added to their convenience. No doubt about it. But the authorities should also try to look at the external, the area outside the main building towards the ajmeri gate side, the approach road. Some amount of monitoring and supervision is desirable especially to regulate the tsr and the taxis which block entry and exit causing a lot of inconvenience and waste of precious time. The road in front of the dmrc parking lot is choked due to unregulated parking of DTC and cluster buses, which seem to rule the area and have a free run. Authorities please look into these areas as well and keep up the good work ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Railway Station. But Waiting Hall size is meagre. And is over congested. Waiting Hall is not decorated.
The Station has 16 Platforms. Platform 1 being on the Paharganj Side and 16 on the Ajmeri Gate Side.
Waiting Halls are in Platform 1.
Retiring Rooms being in Platform 16.
This station is mostly for Express Trains. Very few local trains are there.
