★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a resident on Sus road area, Baner Pune.
A wet garbage processing plant (GPP) has become operational in our vicinity, RIGHT in the middle of the huge residential area.
The plant is operational at all times of the day, even late nights and early mornings.
When there is loading or unloading of the raw or processed material in or out of the plant, THERE IS A HORRIBLY UNBEARABLE, STRONG FOUL SMELL coming out and invading the houses in locality, even with closed windows. It becomes impossible to breathe during this time, which is almost all the time.
It is simply impossible to live in the area with such disgusting air pollution generated from the plant.
The stench emanating from the plant is unbearable, so much that we can't even open the windows or step outside in the premises of the society.
This is just taking away our right to good health!!! We are just demanding basic right to clean and fresh air to BREATHE!!!
Moreover, the problem of flies, mosquitoes and insects is becoming more severe day by day. This is leading to spread of diseases like dengue, malaria and typhoid among others. And most vulnerable age groups are elderly and children.
Since monsoons have started the groundwater is also getting polluted due to the waste.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT WE ARE FACING???
I don't understand how grabage plants can be operational in OPEN in residential areas, within few metres of apartment complexes.
THIS IS GOING AGAINST THE SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN INITIATED BY OUR HON. PM..!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no option to select 0 rating or negative! This garbage processing plant deserves negative rating on grounds of stinking smell it produces and unethical people who run it! Despite numerous complaints, requests and follow ups on multiple levels of Nobel Exchange, PMC and local politicians this intense foul smell producing garbage plant is not shut down yet.. it's real shame for all involved persons running this plant, that they are putting life of thousands of citizens in locality at stake for minting money out of garbage!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This NEX Global Garbage Processing Plant has been a continuous hazard for the citizens of the area surrounding in 1km.
To feel the smell of it, come and visit the main road adjacent to it, between late evening to early morning.
Despite multiple complaints to authorities including PMC, Police, State, Central ministry, there has been no action taken.
The plant throws very dangerous smell when in operation. Please inform your dear ones trying to buy, rent out home in this area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PMC and Plant Owner are looting our tax money on such waste processing plant. Such plants are source of income to them. This plant was established by PMC by telling residents as ICE Factory in the area. They had highlighted this plant as Zero Odour plant with best technology but in actual case it is HUGE source of AIR Pollution. They are harassing residents of Sus Road. GOD will never forgive whosoever is behind this plant and troubling people. MPCB is supporting such a plant by giving NOC and PMC/ Plant Owner creating nuisance in the area. SHAME on PMC for dong such activity and showing this as SMART CITY. We don't want to be part of such CITY and we are ready to move into near by GRAM PANCHAYAT. We need FRESH AIR to breath and that is everyone right ..... PMC/NEX SHAME ! SHAME !! SHAME
