★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the older restaurants in the gariahat area. The restaurant has gone through multiple makeovers over the past 50 years. Currently it is a Chinese restaurant. Food is typical Indian Chinese. The portions are large and the taste is typical Kolkata Chinese, if you know what I mean.
Good place to have a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the busiest part of south kolkata. It is near the Khadims Gariahat. It might be a little difficult to identify as the roads are blocked with plastics and stalls of hawkers. Good place to try chinese. Our recent experience was average. Quality has deteoriated post lock down and prices have increased. Still food can be rated as good and not outstanding. Little high on pocket pinch hence people can experience better food with this price range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decor was alright however the quantity was ample but the quality needs much improvement. Ordered two items. Mixed noodles were like chewing just boiled noodles without any taste and it need not have undercooked pork that one can hardly chew. The ginger chicken was too blant in taste. The items were too costly for the taste and satisfaction they delivered. Hope they will improve in the future.

It happens like during puja days many of the restaurants compromise their tastw due to heavy rush but with great surprise here the quality and quantity remain same. The ambience was good, quite and spacious though the entrance is small that one might not recognize or not even pay attention to it. But people of South Kolkata specially who are fond of Chinese food will easily find this place. I tried mixed prawn fried rice and mixed chicken fried rice along with Shanghai chicken. I really liked the food here. If you are running short with money then you can definitely go to this place as budget for two people approx. 700 rs . And if you have lots of money then also you can go ? By the way here the quantity is really good so order accordingly and if it is extra then ask them to pack it for you so that you can take it out. Don't waste the food. ✌

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for fine chinese dishes.Price little bit on the higher side but the ambience and the dining experience makes up for it.Portion are also sufficient according to the price.
Pork and Lamb dishes are also available which are simply exquisite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, experience can be a mixed one , for me. Quantity is pretty huge. Quality is also good ( i can experience that in the late night). But the taste is not that great .also the price is a bit on a higher range. Shouldn't have commented on the price, coz ,this post pandemic situation has a hard hit on many. So, u can ignore that part.
But, people with knee problems , arthritis will have a tough time climbing the steep stairs .that is the biggest challenge , specially with the older people.also, the sofa was deep down, which made it difficult for me .
I find Pao cheien ( bang opposite and indie the standard chartered lane) to be a big competitor to this one.decor is quite pleasing.
