★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place after hearing hype about celebrities visiting this place and naming dishes after Sanju Baba etc, I went mainly to eat the Paya roti, well I was so disappointed with the size of the Paya , it wasn't a paya but part of a paya given in gravy. The gravy was nice but disappointed with the size of the Paya, the waiter told that's the size of the Paya not realising that we are paya eaters anyway the nihari was oily (it's supposed to be oily, but this one was too oily). The only two best dishes I enjoyed was the GHEE DAL and the starter Chicken haqeem. We travelled all the way from Navi Mumbai to eat Paya roti but sadly the rest of the dishes were ok but not the Paya .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good old go too Mohammad Ali road restaurant for me ever since I started visiting here. The food is always consistent in taste. The service does get a bit slower in peak hours but that's understandable looking at the demand. Would recommend people to go on weekdays specially during Ramadan. Ramadan weekends one will end up spending an average of 1 hour waiting. Must try things are their nihari, hakimi chicken & dal ghee. Sanju Baba chicken is decent and unique but not too flattering for a proper foodie. But a good dish to try given its history.

We waited for 1.5hrs to get a table but i would say it was worth the wait.
Sanju baba chicken is one of the famous dish (It is Sanjay dutt's recipie)
Nalli nihari it was yummmm
Haleem (one of the best Haleem i ever had)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the spl. Sanju baba chicken dish..it was very delicious. Mutton Nihari was also very good. Service was fast. Prices are very reasonable and quantity is just enough so you can try variety of dishes and it won't hurt your wallet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just overrated and too much crowded. I tried 4 dishes but i sort of liked only one item. We ordered "nalli nihari", "Daleem or Haleem", "Sanju baba chicken" and "one chicken item not remembering name. Out of these 4 haleem was bit okish, Sanju baba chicken was good, nalli nihari was horrible, the other chicken item was also okish. You have wait time of easily about 10 to 15 mins. To small tables and very less space for healthy people. They also sell masala itesm as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible is not the word. Minimum options in the menu were available. Sanju Baba chicken is a sweet dish don't forget. Remember they won't serve onions or even sell extra salad or raita. Food was tasteless. ??♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here on the last day of ramzan 2022. Luckily, we didn't have to wait for a table. It's air conditioned and has 2 floor seating. Tried the famous chicken Sanju Baba which was super delicious.. its 1 chicken leg piece served in a spicy tangy out of the world tasting gravy.. also tried the chicken hakimi.. it has a buttery and sweet taste to it.. both the dishes are a must try.. Their roti is also very soft and fluffy. For vegetarians, there are just 3-4 options.. I had the mixed veg which was average. The prices for chicken are not at all high. A must visit place for everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard a lot about this place and since it was holy month of Ramzan. Was very excited to visit this place since it was in my bucket list, but was very disappointed. Don't look at the price as it looks reasonable but 200 rs for a Chicken Curry with just 1 small pc ... not at all worth.

Not at all worth going just overhyped in the name of Sanjubaba . I would recommend don't even try anything in name of sanju baba .
The only thing I loved the most was Chicken Seekh kebab.... it was melt in mouth kebab , one of the best chicken seekh in Mumbai.
